We were guests for 9 nights in September. The owners, the Veit family, were incredibly warm and very friendly. The breakfast booked with the room was delicious and ideal for starting the day. The location in Oberstdorf is really very central (walking time to the Oberstdorf house and the church is about 10 minutes). And the view from the balcony directly onto the ski jumps and the Nebelhornbahn is really priceless.

Great accommodation! Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had a large balcony with a great view. The location is perfect. Quiet and yet so central that the town center can be easily reached on foot, parking spaces directly at the house.The hostess was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and always served with love. We felt welcome and in good hands and will definitely come back again. Thank you for the wonderful days with you!

We (a couple from Swabia, 63 and 61 years old) went skiing to Oberstdorf at very short notice for a long weekend (four days).We really liked the accommodation "Ob den zwei Stapfen": very tastefully furnished rooms with lots of wood, very clean, modern bathrooms, nice view from the balcony, good breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and personable. The ski bus stops about 200m from the house, and excellent restaurants are in the immediate vicinity.Conclusion: We will definitely come back!

1A ski holiday!We had a wonderful stay with a great host. Room 2 and the entire accommodation were very clean. The ski cellar is well equipped and the ski bus stops almost directly in front of the accommodation. It wasn't a problem to have breakfast a little earlier to get to the slopes quickly. And all of this at a fair price. The communication in advance was also super easy. Absolute recommendation.

What the owners have done with the extension is simply great. Freshly renovated, several holiday apartments and apartments await guests.A lot of wood/natural materials have been used and everything looks harmonious.The owners are very nice and also offer breakfast for holiday rooms. Otherwise you won't miss anything in the apartments. A fully equipped kitchen, balcony, two bedrooms (depending on room type), a modern bathroom.Owners are very very nice.Parking spaces directly at the house, walk into town is 5-10 minutes.

We had a very nice stay and can fully recommend the accommodation.You are right on the outskirts of town but also in 5 minutes (on foot!) in town. We started some great hikes from here.If I was missing something at breakfast, it was easy to address it and then the next day there was “something missing”. The hosts are very friendly. We really enjoyed the family style.Our room had a comfortable bed. The balcony was on the other side of the hallway, but with a nice view of the mountains. But that was also clear in the room description.

We stayed with the Veit family for the third time and are very satisfied with the holiday apartment and the service. This time we were in the new extension in holiday apartment No. 11. WiFi, breakfast room, guest washing machine, shoe dryer and parking space right in front of the door. There is storage space for bicycles or skis. The apartment is very lovingly and yet very functionally furnished. You can find everything you need. The service leaves nothing to be desired, everything is well organized and prepared so that you can start your vacation straight away. Thanks for the great time and see you next time :-)

Good morning08/2020The stay in this guesthouse was a success. Nice welcome, very professional owners. Room no. 6 with a beautiful view of the panorama of mountain peaks, from Rubihorn to Fellnhorn. You can also see the ski jumps. Good location, close to the center, although the guesthouse is on the outskirts. Clean rooms, good and fresh breakfast. We will gladly return to this place!

We also had room number 4, great room with balcony, wonderful view, very good mattresses! (Although this varies depending on your back, we prefer the harder version and they were perfect for us!Breakfast in the room because of Corona - it was good and sufficient, it was adjusted and requests were taken into account - great communication - also via WhatsApp at any time.The location is excellent! Within walking distance of town to restaurants, ice cream parlors, shopping, groceries.The bike tours also start on the doorstep and depending on the hiking tour you can leave the car behind :-)If you arrive by train - no problem.The train station is within walking distance and bus stops to all possible destinations are almost on the doorstep!We really liked it!

Location: very good location. Approx. 5 minutes walk from the village, restaurants in the immediate vicinity (e.g. hunting lodge), hiking trails start (almost) directly at the house.Room: is comfortably furnished and has a fantastic (unobstructed) view of the mountains and meadows (in our case room number 4 including balcony)Guest tanners: are super friendly and helpful (give tour tips etc.)Breakfast: was delivered to the room every morning (due to the Covid 19 pandemic) (jam, various cold cuts, butter, cream cheese, coffee, orange juice, bread and rolls).Conclusion: Great location, very nice hosts, good breakfast. We'll be back ☺️
