We were there for dinner, on a holiday, and it was raining outside in autumn.We were warmly welcomed and given a beautifully set table. The menu was clean, easy to read and contained good home cooking. There was also a table outside with special dishes.We had roulades, 1/2 duck and pasta with porcini mushrooms. All dishes are generously and attractively prepared. It suited our taste. The roulade was well wrapped and seasoned. The duck was juicy under the crispy skin and the ribbon noodles and mushrooms were on point.A nice touch rounded things off. The prices were appropriate for the quality and quantity of the food.We'd love to come back again.

Today we wanted to dock at the white swan and eat, as we have done for years. The owner came and insulted us rudely. It's closed and we're too stupid to google the opening times. Too bad, never again.

Since we came from the water side by boat, I can only report from there, I didn't see a room, the jetty was maintained and attractively planted, as was the whole property, very nicely decorated with flowers and pots, the beer garden was completely in the garden Shade of large, old trees, the service was very friendly, courteous and attentive, being able to exchange one or two words with the waitress outside of work was extremely pleasant, the food was simply great when we don't know where to go on the weekend, then we now have a new, beautiful destination

The manager of the restaurant is very unfriendly and aggressive. We docked the boat for a short time, shortly afterwards the boss came to us and began to explain in an aggressive manner that we should leave (I don't want to write the exact word). There was no reason to be so aggressive towards us.

We have known this restaurant for many years. We were there two years ago and thought it was time to stop by again. A lot has happened, everything is arranged very lovingly and attractively.Unfortunately, we had to realize that the mediocrity of the food did not justify the enormously increased prices. We were disappointed.The descent to the toilets is also far too dangerous. More security must definitely be ensured here.

There are a number of restaurants, beer gardens and cafés along the Havel that you can reach by boat. And it's a welcome opportunity to stop here and take a break.But the White Swan Inn apparently doesn't want to have anything to do with water sports enthusiasts:The jetties are narrow and short, covered with information signs and present the skipper with real tasks with two small eyelets. But whoever solves this is immediately faced with the next task of fighting through nettles as tall as a man. All this under the strict eyes of the staff, who suggest from a distance that you are not welcome.When you reach the building, you find yourself in an old ambience, which would even have a bit of style if it weren't for the incredibly cheeky waitress who answered the question about a menu with “what kind of menu?” A world map, or what do you want?” answered. Patience with so much hostility has been enough up to this point. When ordering just one dessert for two people said that you would have to pay an additional flat rate of €3.50, your patience was at an end and it was time to turn your back on this establishment.It doesn't even deserve pictures!Regarding the “map”, which is of course a menu in a restaurant, it should be noted that the prices seemed extremely high. Almost all other reviewers underline this feeling.Neither the food nor the hygiene can be rated.The service deserved less than one star and the ambience could only be sensed from the entrance area.Conclusion: the Gasthaus zum weissen Schwan has little interest in being a good tip for day trippers. The excellent location on the water seems like a burden, as does the maintenance of recognizable traces of former green spaces. Anyone who scares away guests willing to pay on a Sunday afternoon has clearly missed the job.BTW: the Italian restaurant not far away welcomed us happily and was happy to serve a main course for two people with love and romance.

After a sudden storm on the water, we (two tons) wanted a feast for the soul on land. We moored as a boat, but we fought our way through a chest-high nettle forest to the restaurant. We were seen arriving, but it didn't help. There was only one man sitting in the empty tavern.After asking for a map, the answer was rather unfriendly: “Map, nautical chart or which map? There are people who need something like that.” We are open-minded people, but this undertone promised “not welcome.” We just wanted to romantically share 1 warm chocolate cake and a lemonade after this storm. It was then said in a condescending voice that we should then pay a “partial flat rate” of €3.50. In some cafés, restaurants, etc. you are kindly given a spoon, a so-called “robber’s plate” - not here. Anyone who treats paying guests in such a condescending manner after such a storm on Sunday afternoon... it's not worth more words.

We visited the beer garden today when the weather was nice. We docked with a raft at one of the five jetties. The location is very nice. The food was great: pike perch, schnitzel and fried fish. Everything homemade and homemade. Even the syrup for the Berliner Weisse. The amazing thing was the egg tart with sugar and cinnamon and applesauce.The prices are reasonable for this quality.The service was friendly and humorous 😄We'll come by again!
