Very nice hotel with large suites.|There are only 12 rooms on 3 floors which makes everything stressful. Everything new and very clean. Very nice staff. …

We had an amazing stay at the Suiten-Hotel Mare on Langeoog island. What we enjoyed the most was the peace, you hear nothing from outside or from other guests. The personel did there best when our German was insufficient to understand or explain what we needed. The suite was really great, had everything you could need on your holiday, from a teapot to a small dishwasher to a shopping bag for your groceries. We ate every night in the restaurant of the hotel, it was just the easiest option and they had fantastic food. You may think based on the name of the hotel that it's close to the beach but its not, it's a short walk of about 5 or ten minutes to the beach.Langeoog is a beautiful island. What we noticed in particular was the cleanliness. Everything was so clean, and well cared for.The island is car free, so you have to get the ferry to the island and once on the island you can get on the train which will take you into town. Everything is perfectly organised and the you never have to wait on the train or the ferry, they work beautifully together. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider going back again.

We have been coming to this hotel for years and immediately feel welcome. A great and courteous team, the rooms are always perfectly cleaned, the breakfast is sufficient and dinner in the “Bunten Kuh” is a highlight. It's about a 10-minute walk to Langeoog and is therefore in a very quiet location. We immediately booked our second vacation in 2024 and of course reserved for 2025.

We visited the small, cozy hotel for one night. When we checked in, it bothered us that we were asked to pay for our room straight away even though it wasn't even ready yet. So we waited and made ourselves comfortable on the inviting terrace. We ordered a bottle of champagne. After we were told that the room was now ready, we had to pay for the overnight stay and the bottle of champagne immediately. Since we stay a lot and very often in very upscale hotels, this was our first experience that we didn't find suitable. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but well maintained and cleanDinner was ok, service was very friendlyThe breakfast was ok, you couldn't give up extra requests for egg dishes. All in all we liked it.We think the price/performance ratio (320 euros) overnight including breakfast is a bit too high. The staff overall was very friendly.
