The first star is for the peace and quiet. The 2nd star for the absolutely great location on the lake. Breakfast gets the 3rd star. The staff gets the 4th star. The 5th star is for advice on leisure options. I would like to deduct a star for the toilet and the shower in the hallway and add it back straight away because of the cleanliness. There are bunk beds in the room and the rooms are not particularly large. The dining room is always open and can be used as a lounge. There is a room in the next house that can also be used in bad weather. Beautiful JuHe that we will return to again and again.

I stayed here with my son (10) for two nights in a family room (half board). Very friendly reception. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and suitable for children. Our focus was on cycling (we cycled there from Berlin). The location is very good for this. Whether a tour around the very beautiful, clean Liepnitzsee, which is also suitable for swimming from May (with a ferry trip to the Werder with a beer garden and several campsites), a trip to the Finow Canal, a detour to the Bogensee area, which is currently hotly debated politically, to Lake Wandlitz or a trip to Lookout tower from Biesenthal and further to Bernau: everything is very possible from here. Uncovered bicycle racks in the yard, a spacious outdoor area with lots of play options and two table tennis tables provide variety. Clean communal showers and toilets (not very frequented as the youth hostel is very small) and the popular all-day offer of free tea in the dining room (fruit or herbs) made our stay very pleasant. Many thanks to Andrea & team. We'd love to come back!

Very nice youth hotel/hostel. Large outdoor area for campfires, running around, playing. The nearby Liegnitzsee is ideal for swimming. Beautiful forest for hiking. The children were very happy.

The place is very secluded but that is the only criticism. Otherwise it is very nice there, the garden is very large and from there you can start a hike around the lake.

The food is very tasty. There are also alternatives for vegans/vegetarians.The room is rather small, with three people it can be quite tight. The windows in the rooms are also small, so it can get quite hot in the room in summer.

We spent one night here in transit (mom with toddler) and I would come back. Andrea, who runs the youth hostel, is warm and does everything to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was great, we could play in the fenced area and the area is also really beautiful. Thank you very much and see you next time!

The youth hostel is nice and the food tastes good, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The toilets are also exceptionally clean and well maintained. The nearest bathing area is about a 20-30 minute walk away, a real beach on Lake Liepnitz is a little further away. The youth hostel is in a dead zone, but there is (slow) WiFi. The whole facility is really beautiful and worth a visit.

Very cozy youth hostel, we were accommodated in an old half-timbered house. The rooms were very clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable. Showers and toilets were clean and well maintained. The food was also great. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, you can tell that the hostel is run with a lot of love. Right next door is a beautiful forest that is located directly on Lake Wandlitz. You can relax here or have exciting adventures with the kids.

Highly recommended. Great if you want to enjoy nature and the weather for a few days. There are some excursion destinations that can be easily reached on foot, by bike and by public transport. My daughter (7) and I were very excited. A big thank you goes to Ms. Zuch and her great team.

Very good food (salads in all variations, the barbecue evenings are an insider tip), clean rooms, beautiful location and surroundings, very nice hostel manager who always has an ear for the guest. Friendly staff. Always my pleasure. We recommend.
