We stayed at short notice for one night with our daughter. Only double rooms left, OK, then the daughter will sleep in the bed. When we asked for an extra blanket and towel for the little one, we were supposed to pay €10 extra!? Even in every Ibis hotel there is no extra charge. In the end, the overnight stay WITHOUT breakfast was even more expensive as stated on the phone.

The room and the bathroom did not correspond in any way to the representations on the internet. The lime and mold stains on the shower were a rarity. The shower head could not be located.A restful sleep was out of the question due to the nearby road and the high levels of stress.The breakfast and the food were good, but can't make up for the negative impression.I cannot recommend the inn as a place to stay overnight.

oldest room, but with the highest price!! (bad service when checking in/a lot of annoyance/incomprehension when paying), broken shower, various other defects in the bathroombut at least the breakfast was good

Country inn is located on a busy road in close proximity to the bike path.Great view of the Altmühltal from the room.Donkeys are kept right next to the house.I can't comment on the restaurant's food.Breakfast is extensive, but not fresh every day due to the small number of guests.A beautiful reading room/lounge has been comfortably furnished in the house.The hallway was also redesigned.The hosts are very hard working and committed.There are sufficient parking spaces and storage facilities for bicycles.

Very nice place. Cozy room, excellent sound insulation, very quiet. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is open until the evening, breakfast is also available. I recommend this hotel for a holiday.

We were only there to eat, I remember it better. In each of our dishes the meat (beef) was through and extremely dry, a struggle to get it down.

The rooms were OK so far. The bathroom wasn't that satisfactory. Broken shower fitting, shower curtain, everything a bit worn.The room was only cleaned twice out of the 5 nights.Small menu because the restaurant had Utlaub.Very good breakfast buffet.Ideal garage to store the bikes + enough sockets to charge the e-bikes.Friendly staff.

We were there for dinner with the family because we had already heard about the unique citizens several times.The country inn has a beautiful terrace and a great play area for small children in the basement.Unfortunately, the burger menu does not contain any child-sized burgers. When we asked, we were recommended a menu in which the burger would be smaller, but not the overall dish. We then decided to order a regular burger and split it between the two kids.After about an hour of waiting, our burgers arrived; Great look and the XXL on the card was absolutely fulfilled. Taste was okay and burgers and fries were fresh and hot.In the end, our visit was characterized by a long wait, excessive gluttony and a guilty conscience about the large amounts of good food that ended up in the trash because none of us could manage our burger.Although there is an option on the menu to have less meat in the burger for a euro discount, I would still like to see normal-sized burgers and a children's burger on the menu in addition to the XXL range.

We were a group of 20 people and were only there to eat. We asked in advance whether there were vegan/vegetarian dishes. There was a waitress on site who took care of everything. Recordings, serving etc. Ordered an Aperol, I've never drunk such a bad Aperol in dirty glasses. Glasses cleaned with a napkin, you could see the previous person's lipstick. When asked what was in the Aperol, they asked questions. Ultimately it turned out that the Aperol was out and rose wine was mixed into our drink. The water was non-carbonated and there was no burger for the vegetarians/vegans because there were no patties. The burger tasted good, but the price was hefty at 17 euros without any side dishes. You couldn't eat the packaged ice cream; it tasted and looked like it had already been thawed. After we asked for the bill we had to wait over an hour until everyone had finally paid.A very bad evening even though it was supposed to be a final event.I personally cannot recommend this inn to anyone. I'm sorry.

My wife and I stayed overnight twice. Double room with balcony, very nice view to the south. Room was ok, big enough for both of us, everything you need for a short vacation. Breakfast, something for everyone and a very attentive, talkative breakfast lady. Ingenious bike shed with endless sockets for ebikes. Large parking lot for cars. Citizen restaurant in the hotel is highly recommended. Located more or less directly on the Altmühl cycle path! We were very satisfied!
