Booked the presidential suite through Check24, but stayed in a double room with an extra bed. The hotel offers 10% of the room price, with almost 50% lower price according to the homepage. The parking situation is difficult and involves additional costs. A walk to the guarded parking lot of 600 meters is possible. Very centrally located, but it is also a few meters to the Aquaforum.

Time really stands still here.We wanted to treat ourselves as a family to some luxury. But even there they apparently know when we have a holiday, so the room or apartment was more expensive than a normal weekend.Well, whatever.Since we had to change the reservation in advance from 3 to 2 adults, I contacted us by email a good two weeks beforehand. I actually thought it would be with the hotel directly, but on site I realized that it was the hotel that handles the reception for the hotel. Since I generally only pay for hotels on site or upon departure, I didn't receive an access code, but after a short phone call to the same reception, I was given it. Because access is only possible via code or key. From the outside and from further away the hotel appears stately, but upon closer inspection it looks run down and in need of renovation.Once inside the hotel you get the key from a key safe and then you see the room number. All rooms have door handles on both sides, so you always have to lock them. But the kicker actually came in the room or apartment, the so-called presidential suite. There were actually only 2 huge rooms with balconies and large bathrooms and toilets.Everything was clean and the maids try to keep everything as it was a few decades ago, but it's no longer chic, especially the ugly blinds everywhere just look cheap. It may also be that the room was decorated by a Frenchman at some point, but the so-called artifacts just look like heavy lumps. The suite should also have coffee and tea sets for up to 10 people. There was only one coffee capsule machine with 4 capsules. There should actually be 1 double bed, 2 single beds and a sofa bed. There was only a double bed and a single bed, which is probably not always there. However, we had to reorder the baby bed we ordered. The double bed was also completely read and totally uncomfortable. The poor presidents who had to sleep there. The hotel itself was certainly great, the area of application from before and the reception only remotely visible, but everything was deserted and dusty.Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Everything was there, the pictures on the hotel's website are certainly outdated and do not correspond to the truth. The breakfast room is much too small, it is assumed that not everyone comes at the same time. The inner courtyard certainly once looked stately, but that must have been years ago. The pavement slabs in almost all lots, anyone who has difficulty walking or with a walker or small children can suffer major damage here if they are not careful. All in all, the Czech Republic and Františkovy Lázně are worth a trip, we will definitely come back, but not to this accommodation.WiFi is also advertised, but this is not available, at least not in the room, at most for breakfast, but you can rent a router for a fee, although it is limited to GB.Parking is not possible at the hotel, there is no parking lot within walking distance, it costs 500 CZK per day or you have to pay a parking fine from the local police. These are literally lurking about it. But there is a central parking lot about 600 m away.

First of all, we love the Czech Republic's hospitality, the general friendliness of the people here, the great food and the culture. This is the third time we have been to the region within a year. …

The description of the rooms does not correspond to the actual equipment. First of all, non-functioning air conditioning and WiFi in the rooms. Otherwise, the rooms are nice and spacious. Colonnade view, which has both advantages and disadvantages, as loud music or night noise can be heard in the room.

Nice hotel in a best location. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The keys are handed over via a key safe, which makes arrival and check-in much easier. Recommended
