My wife and I enjoyed 4 beautiful days (from 18 to 21 October 2024) at Kamenný Dvůr Castle. It is a wonderful peaceful setting that is nicely maintained and beautiful. Above all, hats off to the chef, pleasant and helpful staff. Accommodation in a 2-bed room complete satisfaction.

We were here with my family and we were a bit skeptical at first, thanks to the reviews. But the opposite was true. The interior is a perfect combination of an old castle and a modern spa. The castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens with great opportunities to sit and admire the surroundings. Ponds, llamas and fallow deer complete the pleasant impression. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The receptionist was always very willing to help us with all our questions. Or with our problem when we decided to go for a bike ride but weren't sure where we actually wanted to go. It was the same in the lobby bar, where we were honestly every evening. The lady kept asking us if we had everything, which we really appreciated. The lady in the wellness department was no exception. She was very nice and we were also very satisfied with the relaxation using clay, which she adapted to the preferences of each of us. And we had a nice chat during the foot and hand massage. It was clear that the masseuse really cares about the problems we have and she also gave us tips on how to exercise at home so that the problems do not return. The rooms were just the right size and were beautifully tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a beautiful view of the garden from the window. We looked forward to the food every day. The breakfasts were varied and the same applies to the dinners. One had plenty to choose from even if one came late. And there is also a choice for vegetarians. In the morning, we informed the receptionist that one of us is a vegetarian, but that we did not write it down in the reservation and already in the evening there were even more things to choose from. In short, a great experience, they have us there again next year.

I was there twice, many years ago, once in 2011 and once in 2012... Both totally free, because my mother won it for free in some magazine and it was across the whole republic from east to west, but I had an overhead fare at dear, I went for free. I got drunk there at the age of 17 with x beers in the castle pub and when I wanted to pay for the beer, which was not included in the price, there was no one to pay, what a mess and mess there was :-D

This hotel definitely has a lot to offer if you are looking for a relaxing stay, because you will really feel like you are in a castle. Beautifully furnished interiors only add to the atmosphere. The buffet meals are absolutely perfect, both breakfast and dinner. The food is excellent and everyone will find something for their taste buds there.Rooms beautiful, clean. Friendly and smiling staff, it's really easy to give in to the impression that you've become the master of the castle for a few days. For a more active stay, it is possible to rent bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters with which you can easily explore the beauty of the surroundings. It is necessary to book the wellness for a certain time, but this is rather an advantage, because you can easily choose a less busy date and your stay in the sauna will be all the more relaxing. In any case, it is not a problem to stay in the sauna for more than an hour or to book several entrances during the day.All in all, a simply wonderful stay that I can only recommend.

Today we took a trip to Kamenný Dvůr Castle on our bikes and ate there. Staff friendly, menu with gourmet-like creations, offers very clear. We had Hovězí svíčková pečeně, houskový knedlík, brusinky (roast beef fillet, bread dumplings, cranberries) three times. The menu said 200 grams of roast beef. Apparently the cook had misunderstood this or there was no more meat available. He divided this 200g roast beef into three so that there were only 3 small pieces of meat on each of the 3 dishes, estimated weight max. 100g.That doesn't work at all!The dish Vepřová krkovice na grilu v pikantní omáčce s jalapeňos papričkami, pečenými mladými bramborami se zeleninou a dresinkem ze zakysané smetany a tvarohu (300gr grilled pork neck in spicy jalapeños sauce, baked young potatoes with vegetables and sour cream and cottage cheese dressing). Everything was right here, in terms of taste, the weight of the meat and the presentation. Greetings to Mr. Schöner, maybe he should show the chef the menu so that he knows what the customer is reading there and can order.

Very pleasant accommodation with helpful staff. We are golfers and the hotel is in the middle of 4 nice courses. Highly recommended. In addition, they rent e-bikes and the trail around Ohře is great...

If it was a three-star hotel, I think everything would be adequate. The castle is certainly nice and has its potential, but it is unfulfilled. So it certainly does not fulfill four stars. At the very beginning you will be greeted by an unpleasant receptionist and you will learn that the unlimited wellness is actually on a waiting list and if you do not sign up at least an hour in advance and come to the cell, you are out of luck. The castle restaurant is certainly in order... and you will certainly use it after unsuccessful banquets. The dinners are at the level of an average school canteen or a pensioner's, so if you like lentils or grits, you will clap your hands and smile from ear to ear together with the senior guests. The breakfasts are significantly better, but such hotel classics. The wellness area is small and definitely lacks a jacuzzi or gym (which you can find in the photos from the castle). Mrs. Jana managing the wellness was perfect, you can't complain about her. The rest of the staff? Catastrophe. The young people's dishes were constantly falling and they didn't even know what drinks they actually had. Other guests asked for wine, for example, and were told that white and red were on the menu... nothing more. In the morning, the staff also smokes under your window, so you still stink. The hair dryer in the room didn't work... or the receptionist had to call the maintenance guy, who only said that it only works when you turn on the light above the mirror. We also received an overpriced picnic basket for our stay - more expensive than a meal at a local restaurant, which consists of cheap wine, water, two sandwiches (leftovers from breakfast) and scraps of fruit and vegetables, which are strewn on top of each other. And if you happen to arrive on a Friday and your stay includes free coffee and dessert on weekdays... you won't get them, because they already count Friday as the weekend. And the bed... let's just say you won't enjoy it much. It's definitely not a place for the young... but maybe you'll appreciate feeding the fallow deer and alpacas like my girlfriend and I did.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the whole stay.We spent a weekend here and paid quite a bit for this stay with half board, we also paid extra for a better room, which ended up being very average. My room lacked a large mirror and the hair dryer only worked after turning on the light next to the mirror, which we had to find out at the reception.Upon arrival, the receptionist did not welcome us very much, I understand that her job is demanding, but I think it is not right if the interaction with the receptionist sucks all the joy out of a person.Wellness was another disappointment. There is no pool or hot tub. The salt cave is not a cave but an unheated sauna with a wall made of salt bricks. The lady who operates the entire wellness was great and probably the only one who really did her job, but we felt that she had to take care of an awful lot of things at once in the entire wellness operation. We didn't mind going to the wellness center for a certain amount of time (according to the rules), but it doesn't look the best. The biggest highlight was the picnic basket in the prize. 1.5 sparkling water, 2 sandwiches with leftovers from breakfast (ham, cheese, tater tots) and a plastic box with vegetables and fruits cut together? Like, who wants to eat a piece of dirty watermelon that tastes like a tomato?? We thought that a picnic would replace our lunch, but that was naive, we had to eat in a restaurant. There was still wine worth CZK 140 in the basket...The food is at the level of the school canteen and the evening banquet is a disaster. When we came at half past 7 for dinner, everything was already eaten. So the friend only had fries on his plate before they added fried chicken drumsticks after 10 minutes. A pork slice was available, but we didn't want it. There is no vegetarian option for a full dinner. Perhaps only "risotto", i.e. white rice with steamed vegetables, which resembles a diet for mononucleosis. Food labels were missing or wrong, for example "mini chicken steak" but under the lid were chicken drumsticks in breadcrumbs. Breakfast was better, but again it was a fight for food with pensioners. Another disturbing thing was to put semolina porridge and steamed cauliflower with broccoli under the same lid? Who thought of that? The service was "funny". Girls around 20 cursed and snorted every time something fell on the ground. There was a lack of any leadership. Someone who would, for example, take care of whether the boxes with food were replenished, the guests came to report it themselves.Otherwise, the restaurant (not the banquet) is fine and therefore the only option where to eat for us.I understand that the target group is probably not people in their 20s and 30s, but relying on the fact that no guests who have already traveled is very sad.If the total price was lower, one would not be critical. He would say "well, good for the price", but for our price I expected more, especially when you go to the castle.PS: the carpet in the corridor 3 days dirty with pieces of watermelon is top, as well as the staff scratching others under our window. :D In addition to learning things, you also smell the smell of cigarettes xDThe stay was rather satirical, I do not recommend it.
