Very nicely located and quiet. We were passing through for one night. Very nice large rooms with bathroom and small terrace. Small selection of dinner that was also very, very tasty. Friendly landlady. The feeling was like coming to friends.

That's a real shame and I have to write it down in order to improve the services offered.Unfortunately the bathroom has no windows, just like the bedroom. Breakfast really small, mini butter, mini coffee, I've never seen anything so small. Price too high, in the next town there is a cheaper room for €20 and with a fridge and even a balcony and plenty of food. And it's almost always well staffed there! It's a shame that the owner of Forellenstube - otherwise nice - demands so much money and doesn't write down any confirmation. The owner's daughter is very nice and I can understand why she is considering taking over the business/inn. Greetings and thank you for a nice conversation.🙋

Very, very nice landlady. Large clean rooms. Almost like a small suite.Breakfast is all home-made and family-style.Gladly again. Thanks for the hospitality.

We were traveling through Croatia and had booked a room in the Forellenstube!The welcome was very nice, the room was clean and the breakfast was delicious!We were able to start the morning rested and strengthened!Gladly again

Great accommodation!Warm welcome, my room was clean, surprisingly large and had access to a terrace.The only negative point: the mattress was far too soft but that's why it still got a 5*.The breakfast is completely sufficient (rolls, jams, sausage/cheese, eggs).The price is unbeatable (night including breakfast).I can only recommend everyone to spend the night in this great guesthouse. Gladly again!

Surprisingly great accommodation. We stayed there for one night with two small children (one with a disability). The room was barrier-free with a stroller. Bathroom modern. Everything was clean. We received a very friendly welcome. Dinner and breakfast were very good. We'd love to come back. :)

Not recommended, we spend the night there in the summer of 23, the food was quite ok, the room was in no way alone, the mattress in the room and the extra bed were an imposition!!!! Never again thank you for nothing!!!!

The troellenstube what can I say, first of all when we arrived it was closed at 1500. Once we called they opened it for us. The room we had was spacious but that was all. Lots of dust in the room and in the house. No bath amenities such as shampoo, soaps, etc. The evening meal was very pricey, limited and very small portions. It looked like a reheated microwave meal from the supermarket. There are better restaurants nearby, a 5-minute drive away. There is little choice for children. The breakfast was again very limited, there were four of us and when we asked for extra bread we only got 3... how can you see that there were four of us. Adding it all up for us, this was not a good stopover. There are better locations nearby for this very expensive gasthaus. One but never again for us.Yours sincerely

Beds are unsuitable for people with major back problems. Bedroom/bathroom without windows. Luckily we still had a hard, fairly short folding lounger available. Dinner only for guests in a very high price range and not suitable for children. Breakfast was okay, but after we asked for something three times, we had the feeling that it wasn't well received. You can't hear anything from the thoroughfare because the guesthouse is set back.

The hosts were very kind, lovely and helpful!The room was also great! It is also wheelchair accessible and it was a spacious bedroom with double bed and warm fleece bedsheets and blanket covers and extra fleece blankets. It also had a living room, tv, couch, table and spacious bathroom. In the morning the hosts brought breakfast in the room and it was just lovely. Good amount of food, good quality and the candle was simple and cute.I really recommend this place if you are looking for a place to chill, maybe walk around and see the view or if you just want some peace before or after visiting Passau or coming after a long trip.

This is our fourth time passing through here... Absolutely recommended.Super nice landlady. Food is home-style and delicious. But very important, ideal for trailer drivers, caravan drivers and motorhome drivers. Enough space to park... our team has almost 15m.The prices have not increased despite Corona and Ukraine...👍👍👍👍👍

We stayed there twice on the way there and back from our Croatia vacation.We can only recommend it. The Bavarian breakfast with very tasty homemade jams is simply delicious. The dinner was the finest and super delicious. The rooms were very clean and beautifully furnished.Very nice hostess. We will be back next year.
