We ate and drank very well there. The dog is very well behaved and didn't come into the guest room, but stayed well in the entrance area. We were very happy with the lovely guy and would be happy to come back. Everything was perfect!

The fact that we were the only ones all evening and the dog that greeted us should have made us suspicious. He's very nice, but he has no place in the restaurant industry. Somehow the whole menu smelled slightly of dog, a subjective impression that we cannot prove. The bread only came with the starter. There is no non-alcoholic aperitif - with the exception of juices. The ambience must be mentioned positively. The service was also okay. To be on the safe side, we ordered a Wiener Schnitzel. The breading wasn't fluffy and certainly not "crispy", the meat was OK. The quality and temperature of the wine was good. The appearance of the dessert suffered greatly. What also irritated us was the handwritten invoice. The opening times are positive.

Beautifully located just outside, absolutely quiet, very relaxing!Rooms are large and functional to nicely furnished, the bathroom in our case was quite small and unfortunately not clean.The service is really extremely friendly and attentive, the breakfast is quite sufficient with high quality products. Fresh orange juice, egg variants on request.Overall, a pleasant experience, with the icing on the cake being the incredibly cute in-house mountain dog...Gladly again!

Authentic historical and fully renovated building exudes great ambience. Restaurant inside in the style suitably quaint and cozy furnished, but in nice weather also invites the wonderful terrace.Host seems initially closed and strained polite, but becomes more personal and sympathetic with longer stay.Dinner in the restaurant good average, regional standard cuisine, but nothing extraordinary.The rooms are spacious and modern renovated, but very bright and somewhat musty.Breakfast nicely prepared, selection is not excessive.It should be noted that unfortunately there is no WiFi available here.Well located between Schwäbisch Gmünd and Stuttgart.Overall nice place to spend a relaxing time.

Unfortunately a disappointmentWe were at the Wascherschloss with our family years ago and were satisfied. That's why we booked another weekend this year. This time also with a small child.Unfortunately, the stay was more disappointing than enjoyable. Guests are not looked after in the evening. They would have liked to have had a blanket, etc. There was no longer a contact person in the entire house.The breakfast was good and, in our opinion, the innkeeper made an effort here. We were not asked whether we were happy or whether we needed anything else for the child.On the second evening, the host himself had a small “party”. At 9:30 p.m. we asked to be a little quieter, this was completely ignored and it was still loud so we had to say something again. This is not easy for a guest! You are there to relax. This ignorance about this shocked us. The host didn't approach us about this the next morning.On the day of departure we tried to give constructive feedback to the host. We didn't have the feeling that this was insightful. There was no apology.In addition, €16 was charged for a pot of filter coffee that we ordered on the day of arrival. You really feel ripped off. The water in the rooms was tap water. The single room had a lot of cobwebs and a tripping hazard to the toilet.Poldi, the house dog, is unsurpassed and the best thing in the house. So, as a family, we don't want to come anymore. We really missed the warmth and the feeling of being welcome. A pity!

The owner's St. Bernard is cute, but there is no hot water for bathing, and the breakfast is very simple and there is almost nothing to eat.
