Absolute rip-off, booked through Booking.com and was closed when I arrived today, and no one could be reached by phone. I was told by locals that this had been the case for weeks. Unfortunately I had to give one star, otherwise a review would not have been possible.

Extremely unfriendly shop! The boss (at least I think that was her) asked me whether I would leave tomorrow or stay another night. Since I didn't know this for sure the day before, I said that I would probably stay another night. When I had to leave the next day, the boss attacked me in such an OUTRAGEOUS SNIPPY tone! Absolutely UNPROFFESIONAL towards customers! This rude woman still annoys me to this day. That's not how you treat customers.

We were just passing through from GAP to IN and stopped here to fortify ourselves. The food was "very good and filling", the prices were justified and the service was on point! Ambience suitable for the region - that's what a Bavarian tavern/inn should be like!We'd love to come back

Good thing we booked through booking. The inn canceled due to storm damage (understandable), kept the money (not understandable!) and that meant all communication was over for him. - simply incomprehensible! Conclusion NEVER AGAIN!

Delicious, delicious!!!! Went there for dinner, pretty much by chance. And then again because it was so good.Very good food, freshly and lovingly prepared and served (we had roast pork and fried chicken).Very friendly, approachable staff. And “Fiffi” also got a bowl of water.We haven't experienced this much hospitality in a long time.Be sure to stop by!

We spontaneously stayed at the Hotel Gasthof zur Post for one night, the room was very comfortably furnished and clean :)The dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor was also great and the staff were very friendly and helpful

For a short vacation we booked a room at the Gasthof zur Post via booking.The reception was very friendly and our room was very stylish and newly furnished.For dinner we chose the cheese spaetzle with fried onions and an onion roast and there was a small salad with both dishes.Both dishes were excellent! The service was also very courteous and the drinks and food were picked up and delivered very quickly. Really recommended.

We were passing through and stopped for dinner with a 3 year old.Almost empty restaurant, maximum 15 people, we immediately ordered two beers and a juice, which they brought to us quite quickly.We ordered three Wiener schnitzels with chips!!!After about a quarter of an hour we managed to have the schnitzel brought to us for the child then after a good hour of waiting we asked the chef/owner for explanations directly in the kitchen, in English, because we don't know German and this literally threw us out screaming!!Of course we didn't understand anything he shouted at us!Truly a rude person!There were three of them in the kitchen!!!! and to cook three cutlets it takes an hour and a half or more ????With us in the room there was an elderly German couple who spoke a little Italian and with whom we became friends, who had been waiting for an hour or thirty and had not yet been served!!! Like good Germans they apologized to us!!!As civilized and good Italian people, we paid what we owed and moved to the restaurant 100 meters above where we ate the same dish, served in 20 minutes.Truly not recommended for everyone

Room ok Food good.Waiter and boss drunk. The entire service is incompetent (doesn't know what was ordered and will bring anything) and the landlord has also become abusive... Better avoid it, one star is too many

We stayed at the Gasthof zur Post over the weekend and were very satisfied. Food served very quickly and friendly, the rooms are all newly renovated and make a very good impression.The host and waitress were very friendly and helpful, we were allowed to check in at 12 p.m. as we had already been invited to a festive event at 2 p.m. after a long journey.Thanks for service and accommodation!
