We stayed here for 2 nights and everything was to our complete satisfaction. The room was large, very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen and balcony were also well maintained. The bathroom is a little small for two people but still perfectly adequate.The location was good, 2 minutes from the S-Bahn.All in all, a very cute hotel.

Here you call Asia if you want to book a room. I called and wanted to book a single room. I was then offered another room and was told breakfast would not be possible. And I should send a request online. I did this, after 36 hours still no response and no confirmation. I called again, again "Asia" on the phone. I didn't understand anything and certainly no German was communicated. Then I looked for another alternative. In Germany it is no longer possible to book a room in German. A smooth room reservation is not possible here.

Highly Recommended. Well-kept, clean rooms with everything you need, hotel close to the train station, lake and shopping... and at night you can sleep peacefully and very well because the location is quiet... perfect.. I'll be back soon and have it too already recommended

I was promised a room over the phone, and I sent an email afterwards, booked the ticket, the event and everything. Then I was told that my email hadn't arrived and unfortunately there was no room left.Now I don't know what to do, all the other hotels are already fully booked that day.

It's been some time since we were there, it was in November and we wanted to go to a seminar. There was a big traffic jam on the highway because of a sudden snowstorm. When we asked, the hotel where we had booked informed us that we would no longer be able to check in if we arrived later. Luckily we reached the Engelhof by phone. There was still a room available there and the owner didn't mind that we wouldn't arrive until midnight. The front door key was in the mailbox, which was ajar. When we arrived cold, a warm, cozy room was waiting for us with the opportunity to make us some tea. The breakfast buffet was a dream, the owner was very nice and the service was great. I am therefore happy to recommend the Engelhof. The name of the hotel says it all, because you feel like you are in paradise. I'm glad to finally be able to write this review after all this time because I'll never forget my stay there.

We spent our vacation 3 years ago during the Oktoberfest. Despite it being the Oktoberfest, the prices were really good. Not overpriced or over the top. The breakfast was really rich. Even though we had our room right next to the train track, we hardly heard anything about the regular train. The rooms are large and pleasant. The train station can be reached in 2 minutes, the train runs regularly to Munich central station and back. There was a crack man around the corner. Even Garmisch Partenkirchen and the Zugspitze are only 90 minutes away. Tutzing is a nice little town right on Lake Starnberg. We would come again.

The room was clean and spacious, including the bathroom. The entrance to the house is lined with many beautiful flowers.The mix of styles in the house is very idiosyncratic.The breakfast was rich. Unfortunately, the buffet table was also arranged very confusingly. The colorful, diverse mix of decorations and the mass of unlabeled offers made the selection a real challenge. Just finding a black tea took minutes. On each table was a tray with six (6!) types of sugar. Of course in different containers, mostly open.
