Spent countless vacations in Benediktbeuern and here at the Maierhof (Herz-Jesu-Sterkrade).I always enjoyed coming here as a child and later as a team member.It's a shame that the large rooms and sleeping galleries are no longer there.Still nice though.

A place to switch off and recharge.Lovingly decorated in old walls, a varied, regional breakfast buffet and attentive, friendly staff.Many, very different ways to spend time relaxing, surrounded by beautiful mountain and moorland landscapes.I'd love to come back again and again! Thanks!

Interesting cultural events and exciting discoveries on one of the nature trails that are part of the ZUK. The wonderful surroundings invite you to go hiking and cycling! I always like to come back :)

Accommodation in the ZUK guesthouse booked via a hotel booking app. Not a hotel!! More of a pilgrim hostel. Spartan-style small "double room" with 6 narrow bunk beds and a ready-made cabin with toilet and shower. You then had to pay extra for the small child. The room was very dark and was probably only intended for sleeping. Arrival within 2 hours from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. is very limited. Departure must be by 9:30 a.m. and is really stressful for families. No exception was made. This request was not answered individually. Breakfast was obligatory, simple and good but overpriced.

As a couple, we only arrived with our bikes at around 5:30 p.m. in the evening. When we called the information center, a young girl came and showed us where we could park the bikes in a large room, lockable, in the other building on the 1st floor, breakfast and 2nd steep stairs to the 2nd floor with luggage. In the adjoining building there is a beer hall, restaurant, on the premises, sat in the beer garden, ordered us 1 cyclist and food, simply delicious. The rooms 2 separate wooden beds, sitting area, television, Bible, cupboards, small bathroom, which was completely sufficient. We slept wonderfully and woke up in the morning to the drumming of raindrops. The breakfast on the 1st floor, very sustainable, very friendly, the view from the breakfast room simply has a great view of the countryside... you can probably also take part in some of the events. Our time was too short for that

It's an incredibly beautiful place with great people (not just because the leader has the same name :-)). We were there with family and friends for a few days and would come back again and again. Definitely worth it and there is an exciting “bio laboratory” that we were allowed to visit upon request.
