Very well maintained and newly furnished hotel with good guest parking. Almost directly in the small center of Kirn with a café, ice cream parlor and restaurants. Unfortunately, they failed to inform us that the hotel would not open again until 4 p.m. in the afternoon.Recommended for a stopover!

Top hotel, service and breakfast are also good.However, I will never understand why fire protection and hotels don't mix.You have guests and are jamming fire doors... no-go.

I think running a hotel consists of more than just issuing keys, collecting cash and making breakfast.The seating is great but hardly usable because it is secured all the time.... Sitting comfortably is difficult...Bar is available but not serviced...You could do more with it if you wanted...

Hotel is small but nice.Rooms were newly renovated and had everything you needed. The mattresses could be a bit softer, but that's a matter of taste.Nothing was missing for breakfast either.

Friendly Garni Hotel. We stayed in a large and comfortable room and had a delicious, extensive breakfast. Location is central but quiet. Recommended.Unfortunately there was a bit of a damp, musty smell in the lobby, but not in the room or breakfast room.

We were there for two days as part of a funeral service. From our side, everything was as expected and went well. What was particularly noteworthy was Ms. Fischer's very hospitable manner and the very good breakfast!

On the occasion of a whiskey tasting, we booked a double room by telephone, inspired by the pictures, the location close to the Kyrburg and the accompanying text on the “Alte Kellerei” homepage.Contrary to the pictures and the associated expectations, our room was a “single room for double occupancy” with the appropriate size and only one dessert and one seat. We would have liked a corresponding note when booking - but this was not the case.Furthermore, the room was in a corner of the building (see picture) with a window onto the inner courtyard and the cars parked there with exhaust fumes in the early morning and a view of the garbage containers. In addition, the view into the room from outside was unobstructed for the neighbors when the curtains were open.Our disappointment at the expected room was correspondingly great, especially since the price was the same!A complaint and the request to change the room were rejected by the friendly staff with a smile and the note “fully booked”.The breakfast time until 9:30 a.m. and check-out time until 10 a.m. after a whiskey tasting until after midnight was another surprise, and not just for us.However, we would also like to positively mention the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room as well as the early but plentiful breakfast buffet.Staying there again for the next tasting is definitely out of the question for us.
