Yesterday we were at the Rhön Indian Hotel for the first time for the Open Tipi Day.The area is green and exciting, the tipis are colorfully painted.There was stick bread and sausages, and also cakes and pizza in the farm shop.There was a lot you could do with the kids, pony rides (thanks to Nemo and Vili for your patience with the little fidgety feet), archery, ax throwing (the easy version), hunting for rattlesnakes, looking for gold, looking at rabbits and cows.Everyone was nice and child-friendly.The food was delicious.The sanitary facilities were clean.The wonderful paintings (on the teepees, on the wagons, in the toilets) were colorful and fun. (Many thanks to the lovely artist, who answered my daughter's questions (7 years old) with a lot of patience, for the nice conversation.And thank you to everyone involved for this great day and the shining children's eyes.We'll definitely be back, perhaps for a child's birthday party or an adventure vacation.

Perfect for young and old. Beautiful here, we were on the way to Wasserkuppe and we already know that we want to spend the night there with our children. Very nice reception, everything was explained to us and even shown, even though we just wanted to spontaneously take a look.Thank you for that

We stayed with the Gensler family at the Rhön Indian Hotel over the weekend.From arrival to departure, everything was perfect!Such a beautiful idyll, the organic store, the breakfast... simply incredibly relaxing. A nice spot to escape from everyday life.Mr. Gensler himself was always up for a chat and sat down with us at the breakfast table this morning. During a nice conversation with him, we learned a lot about the farm, the region and the surrounding agriculture.We would love to come back.Kind regards and see you soon,Fox family 🦊

Unique experience for young and old.We were here with almost 20 children and adults... boating, shooting bows and arrows, throwing axes, barbecuing.And then this organic store…..!!!! Everything your heart desires, only better!Absolute recommendation

We spent my son's 11th birthday here today. Service on the phone and on site is great. Gerhard immediately had a great rapport with the kids. Sausages from the farm were very tasty. There is a great cooling chamber for visitors, which allowed us to always have cold drinks today at 30°C.The tipis and of course the great backdrop in the Rhön are absolutely magical.We'd love to come back ❤️

The Rhön Indian Hotel is very nice, the tipis invite you to stay overnight and the farmer who looks after them is very nice. The breakfast there is very tasty. Excursion destinations are miracles to reach

Great Tippi village, we slept in the motorhome (14 EUR per person, electricity 4 EUR), the place is partly paved. In the morning there is breakfast in the barn, great cappuccino. There is a lot to discover for children in the middle of a wonderful landscape (gold in the river, archery, canoeing on the pond) and for parents and children in the evening there is romance around a campfire and bread on sticks. Great thing and a great break from everyday life.

We've been there twice and want to go again this year.A beautiful place full of adventure for children, a place for adults to relax and unwind.The breakfast is rich, regional and delicious.Every wish is tried to be made possible here.The children (2 and 4) just loved it :)

An idyllic home for individual travelers, group trips and families. Simply enjoy a relaxing weekend with lots of peace and nature, sit by the cozy fire in the evening and swim or paddle in the pond if you like. There is a rich and very extensive breakfast and super friendly farm staff. The farm is run by the chief “Backender Bär” alias Christof Gensler. He will always be there to help and advise you during your stay.

Nice atmosphere, especially in the evenings. You live in the middle of the Rhön, so nice day trips are possible. Nevertheless, the hotel also offers leisure activities.In my opinion it's just a little too expensive to get wood yourself, they charged €8 and there were additional additional costs that were too high for me.
