Stopped there on the MTB tour. Even though we were soaked and pretty soaked in the rain, we were warmly welcomed and had a great break. Thank you 🙏I can't say anything about the hotel and the rooms

This was the second time we've eaten here. Just great, like with nuts 👍👍👍. Very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again at any time. Highly recommended. Next time we will vacation here. Beautiful forest area and quiet.

We were registered there for breakfast (10 a.m.) with a group of 34 people. The breakfast was very good. From different types of bread, grain rolls, crispbread, smoked fish platter, everything was available and from Mettigel to yoghurt. There were also very nice sausage platters, cheese platters and scrambled eggs.The service was very quick and friendly. Gladly again.!

We had breakfast with our group at the Sternhaus on Saturday. We were all thrilled. Not only from the rich buffet but also from the super nice service. Thank you very much, we would be happy to recommend you. A great thing especially for hikers, but also for groups who want to make a stop.Group trip to addiction support in Wolfsburg

Went there spontaneously today for a rehearsal lunch for a family celebration.I can only rate the restaurant.The iced coffee consisted of powder from a can, red fruit ice cream and the cream also came from a can.The food didn't taste good at all and was hardly seasoned.I have never eaten such bad goulash.The family celebration will not take place there.

Great inn, which also serves up something for hungry hikers when the kitchen is closed. Delicious soft ice cream. Food down to earth and great. Unfortunately, short opening times and soft ice cream only on WE.

The Sternhaus accommodation was a very good starting point for our hiking holiday in the Harz. Many sights were easily accessible on foot, but the ride on the Selketalbahn was also an experience and a good alternative to the car.Tranquil location on the edge of the forest. Beautiful old buildings that are lovingly maintained. The furnishings in our room were simple but completely sufficient.When we handed over the keys, we were made aware of the special features of the water supply (no connection to the water network but iron-containing water from the well) and the slight discoloration that occurs from time to time. However, we could not detect any discoloration.The breakfast was very varied and special requests were taken into account.The dinner in the restaurant was also very tasty and there was something for everyone. Here too, requests and adjustments were taken into account.The staff were all very friendly (but of course we are too) and were always concerned about our well-being.We can only recommend the Sternhaus Harz - whether for a stay of several days as a starting point for activities or as a restaurant for excursions.

We stayed at the Sternhaus over the weekend.Are totally thrilled.Rooms are very clean and comfortable.The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful.Can only recommend the Sternhaus!

Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. The mushrooms were canned and the fried potatoes were not crispy and were dripping with fat. The service was also very unfriendly. In my opinion, card payments over €30 are not possible at all.

Hotel is in the forest, very quiet and relaxing. Staff very friendly. Nice breakfast buffet, dinner great. Rooms clean and very well maintained and perfect for us.

The Sternhaus has been with me since I was a child 😊. I'm glad that it will continue to be preserved 🙃 I would have been very sad if it were just history 😊 I have incredibly fond memories of the restaurant as well as the owners and the environment ☺️ I was incredibly positive surprised by the great chefs and the delicious food in the Sternhaus, which I've eaten there a few times now 😊not to mention the ice cream, it's my absolute favorite ice cream and will always be ☺️keep it up dear ones, you're doing a great job and to the owner, I'm incredibly proud to know such a great friend like you 😘😘😘😘You two have brought the Sternhaus back to life and with the whole thing you've also made daddy's heart happy upstairs. Good luck to you 😉😉😉

I was there for dinner with friends on July 13, 2024.Very good service, a good selection of German dishes.The food itself was rich and definitely very, very good 👍 👍 👍We would love to come back, we felt very comfortable and the price/performance ratio is unbeatable!!!!!A real recommendation in the Harz!!!!

A very nice welcome from the owners and a delicious dinner was also offered. I didn't say no. Very tasty duck breast with red cabbage and dumplings. Plus a delicious Ur-Krostizer 🍺 I stayed in one of the three small bungalows for 2 nights and had everything you needed to survive there! 🤣 Coffee machine, kettle and fridge and covered terrace at the entrance. As a smoker, a highlight, especially when it rains 💪😅 Everything is very charming and well-kept. And above all, the price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. I'd love to come back.🥰
