I can't say anything about the hotel, the food was very good, the landlord might take some getting used to. You can sit very nicely and quietly in the garden. Clear recommendation.

Very nice guesthouse with cozy rooms in a central and quiet location. My children and I were there for the second time this year and felt very comfortable! The owners are super friendly and I would particularly like to highlight the nice lady who so lovingly prepared breakfast for us! We would love to come back 👍

Centrally located at the train station, yet quiet and idyllic, short distances to the city or the magical Ilsetal.I was the only guest in the guesthouse, but I still had great service at breakfast! I could choose the time and what type of eggs I liked. It was delicious, plentiful and lovingly prepared and I had the most beautiful seat in the little corner of the tower.The room was big enough, the bathroom was huge and modern. The bed was comfortable and I was very satisfied. Nothing else in the old building was modern, but everything worked fine. Clean and warm, even with a small hallway. Price-performance fits!

We were only there for one night for an event... at first glance the room was clean and warm... at second glance don't look into the corners but we're not like that... what doesn't work for us is that eat... first the boss came into the dining room with his face clenched into a fist, in a mood that made you feel guilty about being there... we didn't like the food at all and was too greasy... and when we asked if the food tasted good, we said it was too greasy and had no response. The breakfast is spartan but you get full... the good soul of the house is nice and sweet and has one or two funny sayings but we will still not visit this guesthouse again the next time we visit Ilsenburg.

Very nice guesthouse with a family atmosphere. We arrived on Friday and first had something to eat in the restaurant. The food was very tasty and the portions were good. At the next table were two local men who obviously meet here regularly. We asked her for recommendations for a hike and a nice conversation ensued, in which the innkeeper also joined us. At the end we got a lot of information for our hike and had a nice chat. The rooms are simple but in good shape and clean. Everything works. On Saturday we ate here again and had the sirloin steak and the pepper steak. Both steaks were perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. Overall, highly recommended!

Friendly welcome. On Good Friday, after spontaneously looking for a room, we got another room. Dinner was very freshly prepared and was really tasty. The room was clean and comfortable.We were able to express every wish and it was fulfilled. Completely satisfied. Great value for money.
