Unfortunately, nothing is new here. We were there in July 2023 when part of our family visited us especially from Rostock. The two service guys looked like it was their first day and their black clothes looked rather dingy. For example, we were brought a single glass without a tray, which had to be held with two hands. Both boys were actually very nice and hard-working. Unfortunately the food was a disaster, I've never experienced anything like it. My gnocchi (1 plate for 18€!!) were undercooked and spongy, but so firm on the bottom that it was difficult to bite into (this was probably because they were in the pan for too long without being turned) . There were four halved cocktail tomatoes on it and the advertised pesto was hardly to be found. It was more like cleaning a pan with the gnocchi and just letting them go through it briefly. Impossible and a very, very outrageous price to boot. After a quarter I gave up, it was simply inedible. My family, who also tasted, shared my opinion. As I was clearing away the waiter asked me if I liked it and I honestly said "Unfortunately not. Otherwise the plate wouldn't be full. The gnocchi were raw and inedible". He said he would tell the chef, but he didn't apologize, even though he couldn't help it. But you just expect that. Even later there was no apology when the bill was eagerly collected. My cousin had something with chicken strips that she didn't touch either. My uncle and aunt had something with fish. Here too, both left the fish. The plate looked like something you would eat in a youth hostel. Neither the price, nor the taste, nor the appearance were justified. I've experienced a lot, but this experience was amazing. The toilets are a disaster. I held it back until we got home. Both toilets were yellow inside, really disgusting yellow. But the toilet brushes were the ultimate thing and had probably been in use since the 18th century. You couldn't lock the door and had to keep it closed yourself because otherwise it would open again on its own. There were cobwebs and dirt everywhere. And it wasn't just there yesterday! How can you offer customers something like that at such hefty prices? I just don't understand it. Nobody cleans there, is they blind to the company? Stupid question of mine, because apparently so. I was so disgusted that I didn't even want to put my handbag on the window ledge. Here too there are cobwebs, dust and dirt everywhere. If I hadn't seen the front of the "restaurant", I would think you had ended up in an old, forgotten barn. Even public Dixies are cleaner. Sad, just sad. Even washing your hands became an act because you felt like you were even dirtier afterwards than before. When I went out I only touched all the handles with toilet paper and luckily I didn't get herpes the next day. But the constipation of my life. Most likely due to the soggy gnocchi dough, because I haven't eaten anything else like that. To compensate, we went to the Italian restaurant to eat ice cream so that our visitors wouldn't have to drive back to Rostock completely starving. Just horrible. The long driveway there isn't exactly great due to the cobblestones, but it's a good harbinger of what to expect in this would-be "restaurant". You earn so much from this cheap food, which you can also pick up from the garbage cans, so why don't you have any money for cleaning supplies or a €2 toilet brush that is thrown at you in almost every store? Likewise the toilet seats. In my opinion, removing cobwebs, dust and dirt from windows etc. doesn't even cost anything. Our table wasn't wiped down before eating, so we had to do that ourselves. Napkins were also missing.
