The apartment "Traumzeit" with its three bedrooms and beautiful kitchen is a nice refuge for several people. Bakery and restaurant in the same town with top opening times in the immediate vicinity. The hosts are very friendly and helpful at any time. We particularly enjoyed Mr. Nagel's "lesson" about growing organic fruit on his farm. Buxtehude and Stade are beautiful small towns in the Altes Land. The way to Hamburg can be reached by car or S-Bahn in about 1 hour. Walking on the embankment of the Elbe is within walking distance, ideally through the orchards of the Nagelhof.Dagmar & Frank

Very beautiful, very spacious, very clean, completely functional holiday apartment, furnished and equipped with great attention to detail, which definitely deserves its name "jewel". The Nagelhof is comparatively convenient for exploring and discovering the Altes Land. In our opinion, bicycles that can be stored in a special garage (and charged if necessary) are a must. The host family is friendly and helps wherever they can. Of course you have to bring your own weather.

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the senior manager, who showed us the holiday apartment and gave us initial recommendations for our stay in the Altes Land.In the following days there were always nice encounters with father and son on the farm, where we learned a lot of interesting facts about fruit growing.From the Nagelhof we went on tours by bike and car to the surrounding area, along the Elbe and to Cuxhaven. The Nagelhof is a very convenient starting point for discovering the diversity and beauty of the Altes Land.After every excursion it was always a pleasure to return to the cozy and very well-maintained, well-equipped holiday apartment. We would like to thank the hosts for this successful stay.

It was super nice. Simply incredible. Holiday in the middle of the orchards, with direct access to the Elbe beach. Great outdoor pool not far away either!

We spent a short vacation in the holiday apartment “Hundertschön” (for two people). An absolute feel-good apartment, tastefully furnished, everything thought through, the furnishings perfect down to the last detail - we didn't miss anything! Due to the great weather, we were almost “only” there to sleep and have breakfast - which was actually too bad. We could have also spent rainy days comfortably there ;-).There is a small terrace that belongs to the apartment; But you can also use the beautiful guest garden.The location is also great, bakery, well-stocked farm shop, two restaurants, the coffee shop on the Elbe and a supermarket in the immediate vicinity.The region invites you to cycle, through the fruit fields or along the Elbe. With the Lühe-Schulau ferry you can quickly get to Wedel and from there you can cycle to Hamburg - great!The Nagel family is very attentive and friendly, and if you are interested you can get an insight into the challenges of growing fruit.We'd love to come back!

A beautiful, tastefully furnished holiday apartment on a traditional fruit farm. The garden is idyllic, the Elbe beach borders the site, you can take the ferry to the other side of the Elbe and cycle along the river to Hamburg. We were surprised by the many possibilities in this area and the friendliness of the hosts. We want to come back.

The whole Nagel family are super lovely, friendly hosts, a lovely, quiet holiday apartment in beautiful surroundings. From there you can go on great cycle tours along the Elbe and into the Altes Land along well-developed cycle paths. And the Elbe beach can be reached in just a few minutes.

The magical apartment lives up to its name: cozy, flooded with light, lovingly furnished and very clean. The guest garden invites you to linger, you are warmly welcomed and gain insights into fruit growing. A place to feel good and a good starting point for discovery tours into the Altes Land, and it's not far from Hamburg either.

This is our fifth time at the Nagelhof!Holiday in the middle of the orchards, with direct access to the Bassenflether Elbe beach.The apartments are so lovingly furnished.Stade is also easy to reach by bike.The entire infrastructure with the"Hofladen Ramdohr", "the mill", the outdoor swimming pool,Bakeries, cafés and restaurants can be reached quickly by bike.We love the climate and the familiar contact with the Nagel family!We will keep coming back!“The Elbfischer” is also always worth a visit.

The holiday apartment is equipped with everything you need, clean, bright and friendly. The friendly greeting from the landlord makes you feel welcome straight away.The proximity to the Elbe beach, which can be reached on foot through the rows of fruit trees, and the many opportunities to explore the area with the pretty towns and fruit farms by bike are perfect. The bus to Stade (the old town is well worth seeing!) leaves practically from the front door, and the S-Bahn runs regularly from Stade to Buxtehude and Hamburg. When the weather is nice you can make yourself comfortable in the large garden.The best conditions for a successful holiday!

Simply put, the Nagel family is the Simply put, the Nagel family is the nicest and sweetest landlord family we have ever had. The rooms in apartment 5 were completely sufficient for three people. Well maintained and if we had any problems, they were resolved immediately. You also get an insight into fruit cultivation.

Unfortunately, the time of our stay is almost over. Thank you for everything.Problem: Since moving into the holiday apartment, the tap in the kitchen sink has been loose and the sink is probably clogged because the drain drains the dishwashing water very slowly.Our stay in the Altes Land was quite pleasant for one week.

We were at the Nagelhof as a family with 2 children over Easter 2024. We liked it very much. We had rented the holiday apartment "Schmuckstück" and were very pleased that it was a real gem: lovingly and practically furnished. We didn't lack anything. The landlord gave us helpful tips for spending our free time. We particularly liked the connection with the Finkenwerder ferry to the landing stages. The proximity to Stade was also great. The Old Country is beautiful and offers many opportunities. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the Nagelhof's beautiful garden due to the bad weather. However, it was ideal for Easter egg hunts ;-). 100 percent recommendation!
