Nice apartments in the very centre of Horneburg located in a 3-storeyed building. No car noise from the street, but there can be some sounds from the surrounding houses and in the morning Eurasian collared doves are calling :).Very hospitable host. You will be given keys from the main door and from the room.In the morning we had breakfast consisting of coffee/tea, fresh bread (bought just before the breakfast in the bakery by the corner), cheese, boiled eggs, sausage, juice.The room, where I was staying (no. 5), is really spacious with a large double bed. There is a cupboard with hangers. In the cupboard, there are extra pillows and a blanket. The curtains are transparent, but there are black blinds making sleeping comfortable in the morning.The washbasin in the bathroom is very small, so after washing the floor was always wet.Towels are changed on request, so is cleaning of the rooms, I suppose.There are cafes not far from the hotel, and there are supermarkets.

A fine guesthouse where you can have a great stay and recover from a long day. Many shops and restaurants can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The owner and her employees are super nice and are always friendly and helpful if you have any questions or requests. The breakfast was delicious, especially the orange juice! It's worth spending nights here for that alone, although I'm not sure whether I would prefer the orange juice or the very comfortable beds.I will definitely come back with pleasure. Thanks girls! 🤗PS: sorry for being so late with the review 😬

We found an overnight stay for two cyclists during the tree blossom 🚴. Our apartment was very large and spacious. The guesthouse is centrally located in the (paved) town, restaurants and shopping are easy to reach. It's worth a short hike to the old harbor ⚓ or to the remains of the castle. Although we didn't get to know the hostess personally - it was still a very nice contact.
