Just beautiful!

We had an unforgettable stay in Nadine's favorite place. The location is simply breathtaking and offers fantastic views. The peace and relaxation did us good. Nadine was a warm host and enchanted us with her hospitality. The food was delicious and the wellness offers (whirlpool, sauna) rounded off the stay perfectly. We'll definitely be back!PS: the chocolate cake is our personal recommendation to everyone. Fantastic! :)

Destroyed birthday surprise.My wife booked accommodation on Airbnb for the first time as a birthday surprise in July.After some driving time we arrived in a small village. We were welcomed there. The first thing we were told was that our dog was not allowed to urinate. I asked where we had to go with him so that he could do his business. We were pointed in the direction of a forest that we should go to in the rain.She said he wasn't allowed to do it on the balcony, which is fine. Our dog also accompanies us in 5* hotels and is absolutely house trained.While we were viewing the property, our dog apparently marked a stone in the parking lot.We were made aware of the extensive set of rules about what we were not allowed to do. The whirlpool (under the starry sky ☹) could only be used until 9:00 p.m.On the other hand, it can be seen from the terrace and from the neighboring houses. There is no protection or privacy.When we wanted to go shopping after about 10 minutes of sightseeing, we were hit hard by her husband, partner, or whatever, saying that our dog was outside and that that wasn't possible.In this respect, our mood has continued to plummet.Before our only free weekend was ruined even further by this unfriendly manner, we decided not to continue using the accommodation after the tour.We drove back after shopping and told the hostess that we didn't feel comfortable here and wouldn't take advantage of the offer. She then wanted to start an argument about our dog and the stone. We didn't want to endure this series of accusations and left.We looked for a hotel nearby where we were warmly welcomed and our dog was also allowed to do his business outside.Due to the rude behavior of the hosts and the hot tub on display we left.The hostess didn't even have the decency to reimburse the accommodation costs, the final cleaning or at least part of it. They even withheld the additional fee for the dog. Unfortunately, we didn't know about the 72 hour rule for complaints at Airbnb and had reported our complaint to Airbnb too late.700 EUR for nothing!Decency is out of place here. Animals are only welcome if they do business and walk an estimated 500 m into the forest when it rains.This was the first time in my life that I left an accommodation because of the host's behavior.Never again!

Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience in this chalet. The location is very insightful and you sit on the presentation plate. In the pictures online it looked a bit more remote. The cancellation conditions are absolute extortion and you should inform yourself thoroughly about this in advance. Unfortunately, the chalets are very noisy, so you can hear almost every word the neighboring chalet says. The sauna costs extra, the whirlpool is sealed at night (apparently the hostess has little trust in her guests). However, we were absolutely disappointed at breakfast: cheap baked rolls, cheese and sausage from the supermarket (we couldn't recognize any regional products). According to acquaintances, this was probably different in the past. Unfortunately, price/performance is not right here (anymore).

The Chalet Thyme was well equipped. Maybe a second shelf in the “love nest” on the right side would be helpful as a clothes rack. But overall a dream house for a quiet Black Forest vacation. The friendliness of the owners cannot be beaten. This also applies to the supply and quality of breakfast and possibly dinner. We'd love to come back.

We would like to give more stars. We have booked the place several times and have always been very satisfied. Everything as written. Super mega delicious food, courteous service. We are completely happy and would like to do it a few more times. Highly recommended, very good price/performance ratio

We spent three lovely days in Chalet Thymian. At the end of January we had absolutely fantastic weather.We really like Nadine & Jochen's concept. Ideal for couples with or without a dog, whirlpool (34 ° a bit fresh), sauna, fireplace, a breakfast box in front of the door in the morning, fine dinner in the evening. Great!We found the noise from the neighboring chalet (wall to wall) to be a small drawback. Unfortunately, you could understand every word here and our neighbors weren't vocal speakers. We would have liked a little more privacy here, especially in the love nest in the gallery.Nevertheless, three relaxing days, thank you for that.

We were with you, Nadine and Jochen, at the beginning of January 2024 and were able to spend 4 wonderful days. The chalet was wonderfully furnished and everything was perfect. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking. The delicious morning breakfast got the day off to a comfortable start. We were also able to experience and enjoy Nadine's cooking skills in the evening. We are already looking forward to our next short stay to relax. An oasis of relaxation to recommend.
