We were here on October 5th, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. and would like to have some breakfast.We previously checked the website for opening times. It says 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There was no restriction on breakfast. The nice saleswoman said there was no more breakfast, only until 11:00, but I could have a few half sandwiches. We didn't want the wheat rolls. I then checked the website again and found no restrictions. I then told the saleswoman that it was a shame that there was no longer any breakfast and that I should declare this in order to avoid bad reviews.Shortly afterwards an unfriendly gentleman came, probably the branch manager, to whom I repeated the same comment. He was extremely unfriendly and said I was a restaurant reviewer who had already been there and wanted my name, telephone number and address. I even gave him the first two. Such subordinates in public are not acceptable. And since it was our first time there, it was absolutely not true.

Coffee is very good. Unfortunately, cakes obviously come from a large bakery. Bee sting filled with a disgusting cream, bottom fart dry. The whole thing for 3.90 euros. Disappointing. The man at the counter was distant, bored and unfriendly.

Small breakfast. Coffee, rolls with butter and plenty of jam, all delicious (see picture). Was brought to the table outside where you can enjoy it in the morning sun.Bread shopping every morning just around the corner 👍🏻ADDENDUM ❗❗❗On the day of departure we would have liked to have had another good breakfast (around 9:30 a.m., the apartment was vacated and the car was loaded for departure). But we were denied this on the grounds that the man in the kitchen (who was frying eggs and bacon) would be free and that she couldn't make breakfast anymore because she was alone. We should make do with what was on display. There were enough rolls and what a problem it would be to fill 2 glass bowls with jam and butter❓We then took 2 coffees and 2 dry croissants and sat down at the table.But the highlight was that immediately afterwards two young women came to the next table to eat their eggs, bacon and rolls. After two bites, one went back to the counter and immediately came back with two glass bowls of butter.I thought I was going to burst.It's a disgrace that double standards are used and... Customer friendliness doesn't work any differently at JOHO's bakery.

We had breakfast here today and were very satisfied. The rolls were fresh, tasty and generously topped. Plus 2x fried eggs with bacon (also very tasty) and 2x coffee with milk. Absolutely ok for the price! During our breakfast, numerous customers came to pick up rolls.We would definitely love to come back!

The baked goods are not cheap there. For example, a roll costs €0.70. The look and taste of the rolls reminded us of industrial goods, not handicrafts.The bread we also purchased for €5.50 looked good and smelled good. Unfortunately it didn't seem quite finished yet, it still had a cliché strip on the inside. We roasted the slices and only then did it work.The service, however, was good. Two young girls didn't know the range or prices inside out, but they knew how to help themselves and were very friendly and quick.Unfortunately, the baked goods did not meet our expectations, especially not at the price. So we only made one purchase during our vacation.

The baked goods are somehow reminiscent of industrial goods... at least the sweet ones.Service very nice and accommodating.It would be nice if he had a little more support. The young man had to do everything alone and there was a lot going on.The ambience is really nicely designed.

We were in Born for 1 week.On the first day we got bread rolls from Edeka.Then every day in the old bakery.Plenty of selection of rolls and cakes.The staff is very helpful and nice.The breakfast on the last day was great.Keep it up.
