This was the second time we have been to this beautiful place of peace. The hotel is absolutely unique and an absolute must for lovers of old manor houses with old charm. The rooms are furnished with a lot of love and style. The beds are very comfortable and it is heavenly quiet at night. Here the term “deceleration” takes on a whole new meaning.The breakfast is well prepared and we were able to enjoy it for three days at one of the numerous seating areas in the garden.The hotel's housekeeper is super nice and sometimes takes the time to have a little chat. Requests that concern breakfast, for example, are implemented immediately.We didn't use the new sauna in the basement due to the hot weather, but it turned out very nice.We will definitely come back a third time and recommend this beautiful place without hesitation. If you find something to complain about here, you should ask yourself whether such an individual place is right for you :))

An exceptional hotel. The breakfast was good, the staff courteous and friendly. Room 2 smells unpleasantly of chemicals/benzene (the entire wall in the bedroom is riddled with injection holes from sponge/masonry blocking agent). Only 3 stars because of the smell.

I was thrilled, right down to the tips of my toes. A single wow.I was able to experience this beautiful property as part of the MidsommerRemiese. Art affects everyone differently, but it spoke to me. What impressed me was the charm of the unfinished design, the use of a wide variety of materials, simply unique.I don't know if the old blacksmith shop on the right side of the path is no longer in operation, I would find that very tragic because I have good memories of this location. For me, the Kranichhotel is an absolute recommendation and worth a visit. Maybe something about the outdoor areas, I found the division of the orchard to the rest of the very spacious garden very successful. The charm of the half-finished building outside also caught me and thrilled me.

We also managed to observe cranes in the moors in our home region of Bremen (Worpswede). Inspired by this, we booked the Kranichhotel, also to get to know this region that was previously unknown to us. The estate is located in a rural area, away from the tourist centers. Very quiet and idyllic. A place to slow down. The rooms and the interior architecture with old walls combined with deliberately raw renovations were something special. In addition, antique furniture also combined with modernity. Breakfast was plentiful in front of the room at the desired time. The estate park was largely natural, which we really liked.Wonderful location to explore. Highly Recommended.

A wonderful place if you want to relax and need peace and quiet. Especially if you visit the busy seaside resorts during the day. The apartments are furnished with a lot of love, the breakfast is wonderful, everyone is very friendly, the garden is a dream. No wishes remain unfulfilled.

A truly impressive special hotel! The only thing that doesn't fit in is the breakfast, baked rolls for four days, always one light and one dark for everyone. Somehow it doesn't fit with the rest of the ambience of the hotel. Fresh fruit and vegetables were great, but the toppings were also rather simple, although there was a large selection, but packaged goods were simply not right! OK for 1 night, but after 4 nights you're no longer looking forward to breakfast. Otherwise it is a bit difficult to shower in the bathtub without a curtain. Nevertheless, the hotel, the beautiful garden, everything else was great!!

First of all, I would like to say that we were there on a weekday, but the museum can only be visited and, above all, experienced from Friday to Sunday.I can't say much about the hotel operation.Our interest was primarily in the Crane Museum.When we arrived, we were particularly impressed by the building, the surroundings, the nearby forest, the spacious seating area in the garden, a café, and, last but not least, the lovingly designed borders and the wine at the back of the building.The hotel/museum is housed in a beautiful old building.Unfortunately we couldn't see the digital presentation of the cranes. But we were compensated by the interior design. The old furniture, a beautiful old oven, the old drawings of the cranes, the lamps, the walls and door frames, the many accessories. It would take too long to describe everything.We found the young woman who kindly let us in particularly nice. Thank you very much again for that!

The location, the rooms, the service - everything is reduced to the essentials and yet the greatest luxury. An absolute blast for people with an affinity for design and architecture. We couldn't get enough of each other and took our wishes and ideas home with us. The breakfast was beautifully prepared, delicious and was delivered to the door at the requested time. You can't feel more royal. Definitely recommended!
