Very rude and unprofessional counter staff! Were misinformed by a night shift employee regarding check-out (employee said we could check out between 12 and 2 p.m. And at 11 a.m. there was aggressive banging at the door. We were chased out of the room at 11:39 a.m.). The next morning there was a bang on the door from the cleaning lady and then from the desk clerk. Were chased out of the room and then accused of lying about the information we received. 3 employees of which 1 laughs at the customer, the 2nd one said you claim that the colleague from the night shift gave this information and probably does so because you want to check out late and did not want to pay for it. Accusations that we were lying and preconceptions that we were doing it to save money. Another employee said I could get sick and that he would call the police. And that I should be happy that we didn't have to pay. I heard this with disbelief and anger. I am a person of integrity and I like justice. But here we have been treated like dirt. And no one reached out and said customer is probably telling the truth, let's apologize for the misrepresented information. And they have recordings of the incident that evening in which a colleague said this to us, but they did not want to play it in my presence and I know 100% that they will not apologize. This is not customer service!!

I stayed here with a friend in November 2018. |We thought it was great, a lovely clean room, friendly staff, fantastic location & you even got free croissants in the morning and snacks of an evening that could be collected from reception! …

The hotel is perfectly located. It is in walking distance to everything. Good restaurants near by and so lovely to walk out to the canal every morning. The rooms are nice as well. I appreciate that they have coffee and tea available in the lobby as well as water.

Our room was very comfortable and the bed was great. The bathroom and shower were well laid out. The best part was the great view from the windows overlooking the canal!  …

Careless and irresponsible with guests' belongings. Of course, the standard rule is hotels are "not responsible" for checked items, but I simply left a raincoat in their care for 48 hours and returned with my ticket, only to find it was inexplicably lost and they were "investigating the matter." It's been over 8 days with no sign from them. The raincoat, not only a necessary and expensive item, was a sentimental piece which cannot be replaced. It would have been understandable if they sincerely apologized, but instead they have chosen to ghost me via email and not take accountability that either it was stolen or given to someone else (it is rainy season in AMS)-- framing it instead as some complicated investigation they must conduct as if some great mystery instead of just owning up to the fact that they were careless and do not care enough about customer's entrusted items!

Service was great when we checked in but our room wasn’t cleaned. The day after, the bed was made as if made by a child and bathroom towels stayed on the floor and not cleaned. When we checked out we were not helped with our luggage when the young man in the lobby clearly saw us having a hard time with it.

Very small rooms, out of 4 days of stay, the room was only made up once. Upon arrival the room was already dusty and with stained sheets, the only plus is the location

We stayed 4 nights. The rooms are spacious and the bed very comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. A complementary coffee machine and basket of snacks and fruit in reception. |The location is excellent. Close to trams and a great supermarket (which is 1 minute away).
