We stayed here for a week with our one and a half year old daughter, there was a lot for her to discover. A small, cozy farm with very friendly people.

Very nice farm!! Although without dogs and chickens!! But lots of cows and a pony!! Very friendly people!!

Hospitable, somewhat older farm with several dozen cows, calves, a pony, rabbits, cats, tractor, children's fleet, barbecue area, campsite, tree house, table tennis table, badminton, sandpit. There is a common room, a playroom with toys, a guest washing machine, four holiday apartments with shower/toilet, and one room without a toilet. Our apartment was well-kept and had a double bed and a children's room with a loft bed and cot, including bedding, towels, hairdryer, kettle, microwave, stove, oven, toaster, filter coffee machine, dishwasher (which is missing in the neighboring apartment).

We just spent 4 days on vacation at the Georgshof and were simply thrilled. So here is my experience report to give others an insight. This farm/holiday farm not only has holiday apartments, a campsite (4 places), 2 stables with cattle (dairy cattle and bulls) and a small stable for Anton the Haflinger, an outdoor area that is designed in such a variety of ways (sunbathing lawn, Kneipp pool, huge chessboard). with wooden figures, rabbit hutch, barbecue area, table tennis table etc. etc.) but also an incredibly hospitable landlady and little helpers!!! After our car ride, we were greeted with coffee and cake (homemade by Ms. Schammann!). Fresh flowers were on the table and the landlady immediately tried to equip us with everything we needed (a high chair for my 8-month-old daughter and a cot were immediately brought over. After the weather looked a bit poor, she brought in all the older children (5 -8 year olds) into their kitchen and made bread with them! The children's milking requests were also accommodated. Everything went according to the children's wishes. Mrs. Schammann also came along again and again and asked about our activities and gave various tips, all of which were wonderful. and the employee Mr. Beron also tried to get the children involved despite the ongoing farm. Ms. Schammann also had her hands full. She was in the final preparations for the village museum festival in the historic old town of Weikersheim. They baked every day and we were the first to get to taste their crafts (so-called "snowballs" and their own bread with green seed spread, and on Saturday fresh rolls were hanging on the door... mmm delicious! All of that was free! Their own jam, sausage, You could also buy milk and eggs (she also got them for us) from her. We were well looked after and when we found out that old traditional crafts were to be demonstrated at the festival in Weikersheim, we quickly decided to have this festival too Although the way home was long and the time was very short because the children had to go back to school the next day, on the whole you can say: It was an absolute insider tip. At the same time there was also a family with 3 children! Unfortunately, the idyll was spoiled. They were also there for 4 days and left without paying, saying they didn't like it! How embarrassing! Bounce, it wouldn't have tasted good! This was a bad prank on this hospitable family, as Mrs Schammann (for 43 years as a landlady in good faith in the people) never asked for advance payment or personal details and now doubted her good nature and was stuck with the costs because cleaning had to be done there yes, still, and she lost around 150 euros!! It's a shame that such nasty people can destroy such openness. I really hope she doesn't let herself be intimidated! I recommend people who want a high level of comfort to stay in a hotel and not in a holiday apartment! This holiday resort thrives on its humanity and hospitality and that's why it scored 200% with us! I hope we can visit you again soon: thanks for everything!
