Left yesterday after 7 days in a double room (unfortunately again). From the first phone call to the booking confirmation, the entire stay to departure, everything was perfect. We are only too happy to confirm the many very good reviews and descriptions that have been given over the years. I would be happy to go on a cycling holiday in this great accommodation again. The “Gästehaus Birgit” is located directly on the Tauberweg cycle path in beautiful Markelsheim. There is plenty of parking space in front of the house and a huge bicycle garage with tools and charging options for the batteries. In the entrance area of the guest house, the owner has put together an extensive information desk with brochures (sights, bike tours, restaurants and tips for going out). There is also a vending machine with chilled drinks that is accessible 24/7.We had a holiday apartment there for a week with two balconies, which lacked nothing. No aircraft noise, no through road that made noise - and a beautiful garden area behind the house. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet every morning, which opened at 8am. The owner of the guest house and his team have put together a rich selection of bread and rolls as well as cheese and cold cuts from the region (muesli and fruit included). You could really taste it! Everything is highly aromatic and nothing from the supermarket. Delicious organic juices and a buttermilk smoothie every morning. I've never had such delicious scrambled eggs, even in five-star hotels or on a cruise. The conversations with the owner were always something special. Thank you for your hospitality, dear Beck family!

Really good address. Ideal conditions for electric pedals (charging, storage), wonderful ambience throughout the house (room with a small balcony, breakfast room, even the foyer and staircase, very nice people, breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Fair price-performance ratio. Gladly again!

We were lucky enough to be able to spend two nights in the Birgit guesthouse. I haven't experienced so much warmth in a long time. The whole team is great and the guest feels wanted. The attention you receive as a guest is amazing. That's how it should be everywhere. Unfortunately it isn't.....

I was in the area on business and stayed here.I was warmly welcomed and allowed to park my motorcycle safely and under cover.I slept very well, breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.Thank you for the stay, I can only recommend it.

The operator looked nice, the breakfast was delicious, but unfortunately the neighbors had a party and it wasn't until 4 a.m. that we could even think about sleeping, although the hotel operators couldn't do anything about it

Four of us stayed in the Birgit guesthouse for 3 nights. The day started with a breakfast that left nothing to be desiredThe location is directly on the Taubertal cycle path. Bicycles could be stored and charged in a garage (lots of sockets for charging batteries)The staff was very, very friendly 👍
