Gästehaus Crusius

I stayed up there on the upper balcony for 3 days on my pilgrimage back home 💞🌈🌞👻 it was very nice and very polite. . . 😍😋The breakfast was also very 😋😋😋 Mmmmh delicious ❗

Although the Crusius guesthouse is located on Ettal's only and therefore busy thoroughfare, it is quiet enough there in the evenings that you can hear the grasshoppers chirping, and from the back of the house you can also reach the mountain path with a few steps uphill, from which you can see the B23 sinks into insignificance anyway. The holiday apartment is comfortable and furnished in Upper Bavarian style. Two living/bedrooms can accommodate up to six people. The “sleeping bunks” with sliding doors in the larger room are the dream of every child and those at heart. The small kitchen also has a sliding door, which is good because it's best to work there alone. It has a stove (without oven), a microwave and a refrigerator with an ice compartment. Coffee machine, kettle, egg cooker and sofa stream are also on board. Radio, two televisions and WiFi leave nothing to be desired for rainy days, especially since the apartment also has a lavishly stocked bookcase. A balcony looks southeast towards the monastery basilica, ideal for breakfast. A window with a wide sill in the living room looks west towards Oberammergau and allows you to fully enjoy the sunset. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower screen. There are plenty of towels available, as well as a hairdryer. Ms. Mariele Crusius and her son Bernd are the best hosts you could wish for. As a family with four children and now two small dogs, we have often received a friendly welcome in Bavaria, but never so warmly. You are treated and feel like you are part of the family. All problems are solvable, wherever you look there is something beautiful to see or a kind word to hear.There's only one reason I'm hesitant to post this review: if word gets out about how beautiful it is here, it'll be harder to find a free date next year.😊
