Very nicely located campsite with a great view of the lake and the monastery.

Idyllically located small campsite, directly on Lake Laacher. Clean sanitary facilities. Small camping shop for the most necessary and uncomfortable log cabin restaurant, with very tasty food at normal prices.

A beautiful piece of earth, great for camping and swimming!

Flexible company because they are Dutch. Beautiful, large and well-equipped places. Sanitary facilities always clean.

They behave badly towards outsiders. As far as I know, although the forests and lakes in Germany belonged to the public, they were very rude towards foreigners. TIP TOP since the new management. The ladies at reception were friendly, helpful and solution-oriented. I would say the price matches the location and view. The sanitary facilities were always very busy during the four days we were there, but were still clean at all times. The fact that the visitors to the lake have some grass on their shoes and that it is in the entrance area of ​​the sanitary is ok for me as long as the rest is clean. The bistro has a good price/performance ratio but a small menu if you forget to order the rolls in advance, but you won't start the day hungry. We didn't test the restaurant. The lake is very crowded on the weekend but then I just go swimming and lie down on my lounger at the place. Despite the bad weather, our two children were not bored one day. For example, the place offers a search game in which the children have to find different things on the place and then collect stamps for each task they complete. At the end there is a small gift and no matter what was going on at the reception, you always had time, patience and a kind word for the children. Actually 4 stars only because after dark it is really dark on the paths to the sanitary facilities and children don't want to walk there alone. Since this is really the only negative point we could find, the 4 stars wouldn't be fair. Keep it up, after years of poor leadership we are moving in the right direction!

The pitch for our tent was unfortunately very hard (there was no meadow ground), but otherwise very nice and courteous staff and service. We responded to every request and always answered everything with patience, respect and politeness. You felt completely comfortable. You could have cell phones charged and you could also buy the connection (socket with 3 plugs) for the electricity connection for our campsite on site. Quiet and relaxed place for young and old. Children were able to run around completely freely. Everything on the ground floor. Breakfast could be ordered and picked up in the morning (rolls, croissants, etc.).
