The entrance to the campsite must be used as there is no other parking space available. 3 euros (fixed price, only 1 tariff choice, for up to 24 hours) so that you can use it in the parking lot. Then a sign showing where to go (without opening times). After about 5-10 minutes without being able to get to Laacher See because it is fenced in and without a direct view because of the trees, we were informed that it was unfortunately closed when we were there. (Tuesday closed!) It was stupid, I paid a 3 euro parking fee so that I was standing in front of the closed door in front of the parking lot because of insufficient information and no possibility of turning around. On other days when it is open I can imagine that it must be beautiful from the terrace. So check it out on the internet beforehand.

Beautiful location on the Laacher see. Clean and spacious sanitary facilities. Place on the water is beautiful! Nice restaurant, good food, nothing special. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and the service is very quick and friendly.

Beautiful campsite and beautifully situated along the lake. The disadvantage is the distances at the campsite. If you have a dog and want to walk it, you have to walk 600 meters to the exit. No dog does its business in the dog toilet at the back of the campsite. Advice to the owner is to create a pedestrian gate at the back of the campsite and dog owners can borrow a key for use against a deposit. Nowadays, many dog owners allow their dogs to relieve themselves at the campsite without cleaning up.

Really beautiful camping, big pitches (we went with a tent and had loads of space) and an immensely beautiful view of the lake. What an amazing location! The staff was super friendly too. We also hired a couple of e-mtb's at a reasonable cost. There is a nice restaurant/bar and you can order delicious baked goods for the next morning. There were a couple of downsides to this camping though. Number one being the showers, they're located in a very clean and modern building, but it feels like you're under a pressure washer and only get water for a very short time (you need to press a touch-sensitive button every x seconds). The second being that the location, though very idyllic, is close to a road that is quite loud during the day. Lastly, there were quite some rats running around at night in the hedges. Annoying when you're camping with a tent, we could hear them trotting around our stuff which is quite eerie. Luckily we had all our food in well-closed containers.

Here again for the second time in 8 years and just as beautiful as back then. Clean and tidy, only booking was inconvenient because it goes through Holland. That's just how it is.

As camper newcomers, we were thrilled straight away at reception. The nice lady explained everything to us really well, named the pitches and we were allowed to choose (after looking at the pitches) which would be the ideal spot for us for one night. The location is great, the view is fantastic and the sanitary building is spotlessly clean.Clear recommendation and we will definitely use the taxes again👍

Despite the fresh weather, it was very nice for us with our dog!!! The location and surroundings are simply fantastic!!! And only 30 minutes. away from home!!!However, I think it's a real shame that some dog owners can't clean up their mess either inside the great dog zone or outside (!!!).Here, too, the problem is self-made at some point that dogs are no longer allowed on the pitches. But then again it wasn't anyone!

Top campsite in a top location. With very friendly and helpful staff, it was our very first tour caravan holiday abroad but certainly not the last, for us it is almost certain that we will book a place here again with RCN in the near future.
