A paradise for families with small children. Otherwise I can't understand the many positive reviews. For a schnitzel with side dishes and a side salad around €20 is a lot! It may be our personal opinion that we didn't like the “sour” mushroom cream sauce. But the crowning glory is “fresh” tap water: for 0.5l/3.40€ is already very exaggerated! Tap water costs on average around 0.2 cents per liter! The Spessart robbers were probably a role model.Unfortunately, unfortunately a disappointment!

We were only here to eat and therefore can't say anything about the rooms. Beautifully located in the Spessart. Great for hiking and cycling. Cozy inn with friendly service. We had the Räberpfanne and a rump steak. Great meat and delicious sauce. Great price-performance ratio. We'd love to come back.

Such a child and family friendly inn. Play area inside, playground with everything a child could desire outside. Children's food comes first and there are even vegetables to choose from in the children's meals! You really have to praise the entire team enormously. We always feel very comfortable with you! Keep it up! Children are the future!

Beautiful surroundings, very cozy. The food is so delicious. The staff is very nice and accommodating. A paradise for children. Dogs also feel comfortable.

It was worth the 70km journey from Frankfurt for us. We only ate there. Large menu. Extremely delicious food and large portions at fair prices. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Good price/performance ratio. Highly recommended.

I had dinner with my son - double schnitzel as usual, generous portion (in my case, cooked cheese schnitzel - insanely awesome 😄😋). You can also walk here and then stop off... It's nice that restaurants like this still exist... And then at the end there was the chocolate cake with ice cream and we left here with comparatively little money!

A very nice, large beer garden invites you to relax and unwind...Unfortunately, the service staff was alone and therefore a little overwhelmed...but the young lady was still always friendly!!!The food was also highly recommended👍.

We ate at the Gasthof zur Geisshöhe twice. Excellent food both times. Quality of food and service great. If we come to this area again, this will be the first address. The price-performance ratio is also good.
