We were at the Kleehof for two weeks. Our first impression was very good. Ms. Becker welcomed us and gave us the choice whether we wanted to unpack first or be shown around first. The yard is large and, in my opinion, well divided. We were allowed to use a lot of the garden and it is totally tailored to families. There is a climbing frame with a slide and sand area around it, a large trampoline with a net, seating (garden bench with table and a beach chair) and even a cable car. From the “playground” you can even look into one of the stables where some cows are standing. (Really well shown in the pictures from the website and simply corresponds to the facts)Through a door you come into the actual yard where work is being done. You can see the calves there that you can greet or say goodbye to every day and you may also be able to observe which new ones have arrived every day. There are two stables with cows and you can also watch the milking process in the afternoon between 4 and 6 p.m.Even the “garage” for the tractors is almost always open and you can take a closer look at it.You have the opportunity to purchase delicious eggs and really tasty milk (and I'm not a big milk fan) from the Becker family at an absolutely fair price.Washing machines and dryers (5 euros each all inclusive) and clothes spindle are available. The Becker family provides many children's vehicles, as well as two karts that children or adults can drive. There are also several bicycles (there was also a children's bike with training wheels), but you have to bring your own bike seats.Ms. and Mr. Becker told us a lot about themselves and, when asked, about the farm, the cows, the work and etc.Mr. Becker even took our boys with him on the tractor and they both had a lot of fun with it, the little one still talks about it.On the farm you can meet the dog Lotta, cats, cows and calves, chickens, rabbits (to pet and feed) and ducks. We moved into the “Südwind” apartment and I can say it totally matches the photos. It is really generously proportioned and is absolutely suitable for a family with two, maybe even three or four children (you then learn to stack up). As a rule, you're not always in your apartment when you're on vacation, but we could still have easily spent our vacation here. The apartment was clean (especially the bathroom). All windows have fly screens and are easy to darken, especially great in the children's room! The kitchen was well equipped, only the knives are a bit dull.I would have found it wonderful if there were more options for hanging things up, e.g. hoes that can be hung on the door or a chest of drawers in the living room or parents' room. Since we have children, we have been traveling with a lot of smaller bags that we don't always unpack where the little ones shouldn't be. I would also have found a key/mobile phone holder at the entrance practical. And a flap in the shower would be nice, because the step that is there is really practical with small children, but unfortunately it is not completely straight and a lot of water always collects there. If you could remove it yourself, it would be there also less deposits form during your stay. But I really see these things as luxury problems because the apartment was really nice, cozy and homely for us.The games room on the floor with the holiday apartments is, in my opinion, a dream. Upon request, the Becker family installed a stair gate so that we could open our door after breakfast without any problems and the boys could play and we parents could finish our meal in peace. Of course, you also have to make this dependent on the co-tenants, as the other apartment is directly opposite the first and they will definitely get a lot of things.WE CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FARM!!!
