We stayed at this hotel 5 times this year, and for good reasons.The rooms are large, the staff are always in a good mood and very friendly. The breakfast is one of the best I've seen in terms of selection, quality and quantity.The hotel has its own charm, and the large outdoor terrace invites you to enjoy the Nordic weather in the evenings.We now consider ourselves regular guests and we are already looking forward to our next holiday and accommodation in this hotel.Best regardsMark and Petra

Anyone who complains about this hotel should rather stay overnight on Sylt. This hotel is good. Large rooms, clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was great. The staff were always helpful and there was coffee or tea available 24 hours. There was also a refrigerator with various drinks on site, which you could help yourself to at reasonable prices. The surrounding excursion destinations could be reached quickly by car. There is even a bus stop right in front of the house.

The hotel is in a very quiet location. The breakfast is plentiful, the only thing that bothered me were the baked rolls, which weren't great and should have been baked longer.

Clean rooms, breakfast plentiful. Will definitely come back here again. A refrigerator with cold drinks, with a trustworthy base for little money, 1€ - 1.50€ is what you should have as change.

Some things in the rooms need to be overhauled, mattresses are good... the hosts are overwhelmed at breakfast... clearing tables and re-setting and the location of the buffet leaves a lot to be desired

A lot of reviews have been written about the hotel (Am alten Hafen in Altharlingersiel). I'm surprised at some of the bad judgments.I think the people who write such reviews have little experience in traveling.Guys, explore worldwide like inChina, America, or southern Europe,then you will get different impressions of hotels and hospitality.The Hotel Am alten Hafen in Altharlingersieltempts you to come back!

Very friendly staff.Room and bathroom extremely clean.Breakfast was excellent. From plenty of fruit - lots of different types of cold cuts - cheese - fish - eggs - scrambled eggs - jam - yoghurt etc. - rolls - different types of bread - there was nothing missing. Keep it up. We were definitely not there for the last time.Highly recommended. Very friendly staff and very attentive.

Owners are very nice, but communication is limited due to language barrier.Breakfast was good.Kettle is available at all times.Guest refrigerator where you can cool your things is in the entrance of the house.The location is really great. In a short time with a wheeled vehicle you can either be in Neuharlingersiel or in Carolinensiel with great beaches or the ferries that go to the islands.

The "hotel" looks old from the outside, but the inside hasn't gotten any better either. So to cut a long story short, after we were shown the room we left immediately. The absolute highlight was that he had to certify that he would not make any claims against me. I had to write it myself and then he signed it.So stay away from this hotel!!!!

Hotel is very clean. Owner very friendly. Rooms are okay. Everything you need is there. The price is super cheap for the high season. You can make coffee and tea during the day. A refrigerator with drinks is available for self-service. Prices very moderate, beer 1.5€, cola water 1€. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable and will come back.

Good price and decent breakfast. The room and bathroom are not new but OK. A fridge with drinks is available for self-service, beer €1.50 and soda €1.00. That's fine. There used to be a restaurant here, but it no longer exists. No food is offered except breakfast. Very high prices in the restaurant next door.
