Everything was great, staff, rooms, location, supermarkets in the immediate vicinity and so on. Four friends were there and rode their racing bikes every day. The area is great and the accommodation makes it perfect. Super nice host. Absolutely a dream for cycling in the Black Forest.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the Black Forest Bike Hostel twice now for business trips, each time with a group of three people. Our experiences were nothing short of exceptional.During our first visit, we stayed in the Kandel room, which offered an outstanding quality/price ratio. The room was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for a comfortable and productive stay. We were impressed with the amenities and the attention to detail that made our stay so enjoyable.For our second trip, we opted for the Panorama room, and it truly lived up to its name. The comfort level was unparalleled, with spacious accommodations and a breathtaking view that provided a serene backdrop for our work. One of the highlights was being able to see a stork nest from our window, which added a unique and charming touch to our stay. The room was designed with mountain bikers in mind, offering a perfect blend of comfort and functionality. The ample workspace and excellent Wi-Fi made it an ideal environment for our needs.The staff at the hostel are incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. The location is also fantastic, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Black Forest after a long day of work.We highly recommend the Black Forest Bike Hostel to anyone traveling for business or leisure. I stayed in the Rosskopf room. Everything is clean, the quality of the mattress is good. The bedding was very good, and of course I was given an extra pillow to put between my knees upon request. There are plenty of storage options in the large wardrobe.I was even able to check in in the morning by arrangement; the friendly Mr. Schreiber made it possible.The guest card is simply great. Kirchzarten is well connected to public transport. Everything is easily accessible.Thank you for everything!I'll be back!

Totally awesome! We were in the loft-type apartment on the ground floor, everything is tastefully done and the cleanliness is impeccable. Marco was very welcoming and gave good advice on the surrounding area. The free transport card is a real plus, we were 15 minutes from the center of Fribourg, and lots of nice shops around. I highly recommend.

A wonderful hostel in a great and quiet location. The owners are really friendly, the connection to public transport is great, just a short walk to the S-Bahn station.The apartment is well maintained, well furnished and everything you need is there.Always happy!

The best price-performance ratio I've experienced so far.When we arrived we were greeted by the really friendly landlord. He showed us the very nice accommodation personally. Everything is very clean, the apartment is great for 4 people. Mattresses nice and firm and like new. The location is perfect. Less than 5 minutes to the train station. From there there is a train every 30 minutes in the direction of Freiburg or Titisee. There is everything around the apartment: bread rolls, pharmacy, etc. It was a great weekend and we agreed that we would book again at any time. Thank you👍

I was allowed to spend a week in the Eichberg apartment. Since the temperatures had already dropped a bit, the operator was kind enough to preheat the room for me. It was super clean in the room, both the kitchen and living area as well as the bathroom. Also worth mentioning is the bed linen, which is real, with a zipper, so no nighttime tangles. 😉The only drawback: the parking lot is somewhat limited in terms of space, but large cars can also be parked there. I hope on my next trip I can spend my nights there again.

As was the case last year, the service at the “Black Forest Bike Hostel” was excellent (full 10 points!).Very nice, spacious holiday apartment (Intercity) furnished to make you feel comfortable, absolutely clean and the associated garden with terrace with shady awning invites you to linger. We were also provided with a covered, shady parking space, which was particularly useful for our dog, who also felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment, given the hot summer temperatures. We will definitely be happy to book this holiday apartment when we are in the area again.
