Had a nice drink and then had a nice meal, fries were very hard and the service could be better, more interested for example.Had to ask for the receipt myself, I didn't check it on the spot, I wish I had done that, there was 1 beer AND 1 rosé too many and the sauce with the pork tenderloin is extra! Last time here!

Very nice location, right in the historic old town. The restaurant is on the ground floor and the rooms are on the upper floors. If your room faces the pedestrian zone, it is a bit noisy in the evening.Clean, large rooms and toilets. Water and coffee are available in the room: great service! The breakfast takes a lot of getting used to: it is placed on a tray in the fridge.But the price-performance comparison is absolutely correct.

A cool beer selection. About 35 beers on tap...if everything were there, which isn't really a bad thing. Because this way you can be sure that it is always fresh. Service was quite friendly (almost everyone). A little more expensive, but with the selection of beers and the special features. Come back.

Very slow service, or they come to you after 20 sec you sit, but if you ask to come in 5 mins, they come in 15. We didn’t get drinks before food, and then they said they don’t have a beer we choose.Food was good! If you are here for delicious lunch, and don’t care about how friendly people are here, how fast they serve and how comfortable is it, that’s a right place. Wouldn’t come back but we understand why someone else could have positive experience here.

Neat room, good beds, nice spacious bathroom with almost all amenities (bidet is unfortunately missing) Until 1:00 am. Quite a bit of noise from terraces at night. Market construction from 4:00 am. not completely silent on Saturday morning. Very friendly staff. In the heart of the city center with all the pros and cons. No air conditioning and no USB to charge anything. Check out before 10:00 am. on the early side.

Twice, first and last time. Ate a salad with kip. With glass cucumbers in it and just mayo on it. Really very unappetizing. We won't be coming back. The beer glasses were greasyand unclean.

After having a nice beer once, we thought: we are going to end our holiday here on Saturday. The food itself was fine, but when our empty plates were collected, we were not asked if we wanted anything else. So wait patiently. Until my husband finally raised his finger and the dark-haired waitress annoyedly indicated that she was coming. Waited another fifteen minutes and she completely ignored us. Then I pay and I stand at the bar and the dark haired waitress helped. Doesn't ask if it was to your liking but leaves a receipt. To which I indicate that we actually wanted dessert but no one came. Catty: You want to pay now, don't you? Yes, now yes, I say. Unbelievable that someone would do that to a paying customer!!!!! A 3*** for the food, but for the rest? What a downer! She also says like a robot after paying: have a nice day. I left because I had a good upbringing, but actually.........

The Myth, the legend, Tobi. This man has made an already enjoyable evening legendary. During the first meeting at the Rooks we were still hesitant to share our idea that we were doing a pub golf through Winterswijk. But Tobi could laugh about it, which made it no longer awkward to drink our beers. He told us to go to the Lamme, his other business, where we received Tobi's greetings from the staff upon arrival. The 2 best stops of the route, great evening. Tobi, see you in six months!
