We spent a nice, quiet weekend there, but the only criticisms are the very small bedrooms and wardrobes, too much storage space separate from the house, access only from the outside, they would have preferred to expand the bedroom. Kitchen otherwise well equipped but very small, living room large, although in our house unfortunately with a direct view of the main path, you would have to keep the curtains closed if you wanted privacy. Sauna works great, gets hot quickly, but too many spider webs (hard to miss). Large plot of land in front of the house, good for the children to play freely

A great place to relax and unwind. We had a house with a sauna and hot tube, which was just great. The house was clean and surprisingly had a lot of space. The kitchen was also fully equipped, nothing was missing. Thank you for the great place 😁

Relaxing, beautiful location in the middle of an oasis of nature and greenery. Friendly welcome and the houses are as good as new, beautifully and well finished and equipped with all kinds of comforts and luxuries, including private parking. There is still construction going on here and there, but this will not bother you.We had a house a little further away, but it was really wonderful in peace and privacy. From towels to dishwasher tablets and kitchen utensils. Everything was there!The sauna and hot tub were wonderful and definitely a must have if you stay there for a few days. Supermarkets and restaurants are close by and Germany is a few kilometers away.We had a great time! Really good value for what you pay compared to other comparable holiday parks. Only praise!!Update:We returned in October for a long weekend and once again enjoyed ourselves. This time we opted for a Wellness lodge on the water. House was a bit smaller than last time (Amalia 4 people) but fine and we didn't feel like we were running out of space. There is a sauna in the house. What luxury! The staff was again extremely friendly and attentive. Winterswijk is a nice city to visit as well as Germany, which is a 3 km drive away. On Saturdays there is a nice market in the center of Winterswijk and for meat lovers I recommend El Paso Steakhouse just across the German border, which is approximately 2 km from the park. Supermarkets are also nearby and the park itself also has a small shop where you can pick up various supplies and fresh sandwiches.Holiday park Hofparken Wiltershaar remains a fantastic place to relax and get value for money! The park is still under construction, but as a guest you won't notice anything.This will undoubtedly not be the last time we come back! Thanks again for the good care. A big shout out to the owner and staff!

What a fantastic place. Beautiful park. A super nice house. Fantastic hot tub and a wonderful sauna. Everything looks great and everything you want is in the house. Even sheets and towels are included. Beautiful surroundings and Germany 🇩🇪 less than 3 km away. Truly a dream destination. Winterswijk is almost around the corner. Nice place. Park is not completely finished yet. You don't notice that anyway.

The park is beautiful and was very quiet. The environment is also great: we cycled a lot and rode e-choppers in the area (highly recommended by the way!). Unfortunately the service was bad. The house was really beautiful, but dirty: on the walls and ceiling in the living room and bedroom, there were several dead mosquitoes... 2 of the 4 dining chairs had stains that looked like baby spit. There was also supposed to be a box, but it was missing. Of course it can happen, so my friend went to reception to ask if they had one for us. The man behind the counter had looked behind the counter, but there was no extra, so no solution. I then emailed to ask if a solution was possible because we would like to use a box (I was on crutches, hence the email and not visiting). But never had a response. By the way, the lady who worked there was great! On the last day she explained to me where we should leave the key if we were to check out in the evening and even walked along to show me where exactly it was :).

A beautiful accommodation near the German border. We absolutely loved the rural and quiet area. There is enough space to the neighborhood. The wooden floor and furnishings create a soothing atmosphere and contribute to a feeling of well-being. A Bluetooth box is available in the living area.The downside is that you really have to bring everything with you. Dishwashing liquid, sponge, guest towel and soap in the toilet, sauna towel and tea towel. In the big bed there is a big duvet, not everyone likes that. The facility seems to be quite new, as there are still small construction sites to be seen, but that doesn't bother you. Warmest recommendation for relaxing days.

Hofparken. Keep in mind, especially now that it is dark early, that there is no lighting at all in the evening, so you walk around and you have to approach the houses to see the house number, then people sit and watch as if there is a burglar at the door. says... maps sends you to a place where you sometimes have to be completely on the other side, because it is still new, maps sends you to a parking spot while your house is a 15 minute walk away with the search, just add 10 minutes, the Signs indicating this are also unclear and confusing. You can come and park your car at all houses, so bring it with you and turn on lights or a flashlight. Rooms are fine, well insulated. You don't have keys here, but a code to open the door. It's fine inside, but outside still needs work. There are a lot of houses, in daylight you see it in the dark and you really think you are driving the wrong way.

Within six months we have booked a house here three times (New Year's Eve 2023/2024, Pentecost and June 2024). What we especially like is the location of the houses. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the tranquility.

Had a wonderful stay! The houses are brand new, spacious and fully equipped. The park is still under construction, but we were not bothered by that at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is beautiful, it is definitely recommended to bring a bicycle.

Enjoyed one of the new water lodges with a hot tub.The houses are fully equipped.Relax and enjoy this beautiful (partly still under construction) park. Before arrival we were called that the TV was not working, but this would be resolved. Unfortunately this was not successful, but they offered a more than excellent solution. Beautiful surroundings around the park. Close to Germany, so doing some shopping is of course also part of it.We will definitely come back here again.

Nice and quiet location, you can sit shielded in your sauna or hot tub, the staff is very friendly, and in the morning a friendly gentleman who worked there came to have a chat.Houses are so new that you can just smell the newness.Book again next year!
