Very nice atmosphere. The service is very nice and attentive. The food was very quick and very tasty. The menu is clear and there is something for everyone. We would love to come back. All in all, feel good!!!!

We celebrated our wedding at the Hotel Sauerland. From the planning to the implementation, everything was great and our guests were very surprised and satisfied, as were we. From the food and drinks to the services and accommodation, everything was great. The price-performance ratio is right. You can only recommend the hotel. There is also a very nice beer garden, etc.

This is an excellent hotel in a beautiful area.Spacious room, large bed, excellent shower; and a chambermaid who cleans the room every day. There is a very nice terrace/beer garden in the garden where you can sit and eat. The food tasted excellent and gluten-free diets were taken into account. In the morning there is an extensive breakfast buffet including tea/coffee/soy milk/chocolate milk/fruit juice, boiled or fried eggs, whatever you want; meat, cheese, fish, salads, sausages, yogurt, fresh fruit, nuts and much more.There are 2 friendly, well-groomed dogs walking around, which makes it even more pleasant.The staff are friendly and helpful. Price/quality ratio is very good.We stayed here and made beautiful Teutoschleifen walks and visited the Varus Schlacht Museum.

Although we only stayed at the Sauerlandhotel for 2 nights, we were greeted and served in a very friendly manner by everyone. The breakfast and the food a la carte were more than filling and delicious. The beer garden invites you to linger in the evening. Would love to come back. Annette and Manfred

We stayed at the hotel for a week as a hiking group. The location is convenient for bike tours. The food was top class, as was the service. We have already done many cycling and hiking tours together, but we liked this one the best. Many thanks to the service and especially to the chef and the head of the catering department!

We spent a very nice Whitsun weekend with the family (10 people) here. Breakfast was very good and sufficient. The dinner was super good. The service is always friendly, even when it can be stressful. There's nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel has absolute charm and they put a lot of effort into ensuring the guest's well-being! The breakfast is really good for the price range - even if my taste would be more natural yoghurt than the chocolate mousse offered here - but of course that is absolutely a matter of taste!

We've known for a long time that Max can cook really well, but we've only now seen that delivery can also be made at Lieferando.It's brilliant how he manages to deliver a steak in the delivery service medium and warm as requested. Asparagus was on point and everything else was perfect too.Thanks Max, we will order again

It was a short but nice stay for us at the Hotel Sauerland, which we will definitely repeat. Everything was clean, the breakfast was very tasty and there was nothing else to complain about. The beer garden is very cozy and clean and the beer (Th. König) was also very tasty. The entire staff was very friendly, including the boss. Unfortunately we didn't manage to order anything in the restaurant this time because the menu looked really tasty, but we'll catch up on that. You can also reserve rental bicycles through the hotel.Conclusion, I can only recommend the hotel to anyone who expects exactly what they expect for the price, because that's exactly what you get. It's just that some rooms are a little smaller than others, but seriously, if you spend the whole day at Lake Alfsee like we did and actually only use the room for sleeping and showering, that's absolutely fine and the spring beds are very comfortable.

We went there for dinner with our four year old son. After receiving a very friendly welcome, we received our drinks very quickly.The (chief) cook prepared the food perfectly, it really tasted the finest. We'd love to come back.
