We were here for a game package, and had a fantastic meal here 2 years ago. That was not the case this time...really not tasty (I was also miserable afterwards) and the dessert was so bad, this was also indicated but nothing was done with it; not even an excuse... This will never be a Game Package in Brasserie de Heerlijckheid again.On the other hand, the breakfast was fantastic and so was the room, but you still want to have a nice dinner and that was really not the case!

It was all Delicious.Possibly a point, rooms 101 and 102 are on the same corridor as the doors of the breakfast room and they are open and because breakfast is early, this is sometimes audible in the rooms!

For the second time in a short time we stayed at the Heerlyckheid in Bredevoort and once again we really enjoyed it: the nice clean rooms, the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful surroundings and the delicious food. One address to come back to soon.

Along the way by bike, we had lunch in the bistro of this beautiful establishment. It was really packed. And, apparently, for good reason. I've never had such a fabulous mustard soup before. Nowhere! That alone is worth coming back for a closer introduction. So that's what we're going to do anyway. It is also a perfect base to explore this part of the country.

Hotel is beautiful. Well cared for, friendly staff, nice heated terrace, nice room (albeit with a small bathroom). We had a 3-day game package. The first evening was very good. Delicious 5-course dinner, with matching wines. Good staff, who supervised the evening with attention. The second evening was a lot less, unfortunately. We had a 4 course dinner and wanted a wine pairing. Unfortunately, the evening was very messy due to a lack of staff. Wine pairing started poorly and much too late; which made us decide to stick to 2 glasses of wine and cancel the wine arrangement. For dessert we got the same as the night before. After we reported this, it was exchanged for something else. In short: the stay was pleasant, but due to the disillusionment of the second evening, we will not book here again in a hurry.

Ordered a glass of wine and a beer in the afternoon together with a cold/warm snack board for €12.50pp.When it was served, a bowl contained exactly 6 fried snacks, the rest a few slices of sausage/cheese/brie, a handful of chips, Japanese nuts, a bowl of olives and a small sandwich, all for €25. Hot/cold ratio completely out of balance and unworthy of a restaurant called De Heerlijkheid

The arrival was surprising. What a beautiful look. Once inside: what a tasteful and carefully finished interior. The rooms are impressive in appearance.The food: disappointing. Duck breast: certainly not the taste experience that might be expected. The 2nd evening 4 returned to the kitchen. The meat from the other dishes of our 19 family members was also not to everyone's taste; the quality of the meat left much to be desired and the chewing was intense.Desserts looked nice, but could have been a little more lavish in size.That shouldn't have happened.Hans Visser

Brasserie isn't even worth one star.Waiters can neither English nor German.We ordered 4 drinks and 1 arrived. After 20 minutes we asked about the other drinks we were making. After 10 minutes 2 drinks come. Stopped the whole thing.They are also very rude.
