A really great restaurant. Very nice service. The rooms are very comfortable and have a great atmosphere. The food is excellent at moderate prices. That's why we've been coming here for 11 years. Can only be recommended.

Yesterday on Friday evening around 8 p.m. we visited the restaurant, we were the only guests. The spatial presentation was very cluttered and old-fashioned, far from creating a feel-good atmosphere.The innkeeper was very rude in his choice of words and had no sense of appropriate communication. My companion ordered a Rostbrätel, and the landlord made the following comment: "But that's from the ridge or the boss doesn't grill it at home." What a stupid remark!I ate the chicken liver with apple slices and onionsFried potatoes. Our food was good, but it could be much better, especially when it comes to being a host.We thought about whether we wanted to spend the night there, but we didn't. It was a good decision, I see now, because the reviews from other hotel guests reveal it.

I was surprised by the bad reviews, but they are more than five years old. We had a very good meal there yesterday, everything was freshly prepared and nicely presented. The owner is extremely friendly and service-oriented. The prices are moderate, the offering is extensive. I also like the ambience, not everything can have the same style.

Since I only ate in the restaurant, I can't rate the hotel. I got a great impression of the food and the kitchen and service team. The restaurant is nostalgically charming and the employees were open-minded and friendly.

Refused to speak English so we could not even ask about a room. Receptionist said "this is Germany. Bye" and hung up

Honestly... it couldn't be worse. We went on a cycling holiday and were looking forward to a nice bed and good food. But dirty bed, lumpy mattresses and the "bathroom" didn't work at all.The food was also bad, everything was sticky (you could always hear the sound of the microwave) and some things at breakfast were already expired.Sorry for the review...but maybe you'll learn from it!

Unfortunately, it wasn't good at all. We were there for Christmas this year and the food didn't taste good at all. The deer was rock hard and the mushrooms were sour. Unfortunately, when we only wanted to pay for half of the dish, the service became sloppy. Unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour for drinks even though there weren't many guests there. All in all it wasn't nice. Although the service was very nice.

Great breakfast, rooms old-fashioned but clean, nice staff - what bothered me: rooms didn't get warm in the transition period to autumn and especially: the faucet at the sink just dripped. But otherwise quite okay. Oh well, the food in the restaurant tastes good. I'll come back if the company allows it.

As already mentioned in some comments... Never had such a bad meal. The pasta with tomato sauce for the children was inedible, the steak was chewy and the meat had no seasoning. The outside area is full of junk and rubbish. And to be honest, the staff wasn't exactly the friendliest and seemed very annoyed.

Hui from the front, yuck from the back.Seems not interested in returning guests.Unkept backyard and that's where you're supposed to sit and eat.Behind the dining area are old kitchen appliances and other rubbish.Never again!!!!
