We remembered the campsite better from 4 years ago. As a transit camper you come to a place that is centrally located, but dirty and uncomfortable.You can only get to the place where the Rehbachklause is located under difficult conditions. We wanted to know if the restaurant was open, so we called and the voicemail went with the comment... This is Mirko, if you have good news, please speak on the box, otherwise hang up. .....or something like that.That doesn't work at all!!!!!The only positive thing is the location, right on the Edersee, I can't say anything more about it...

A very nice place, but the plots are just too small.We couldn't fully extend the awning and I couldn't get to the toilet box at the back. The flap is at the back.In addition, the final disposal station was a disaster.The sanitary facilities and washing up facilities were sufficient for our needs.You can eat very well there and the small market has everything you need.You can also cycle very well there.

Campsite with the appropriate audience...it's possible. Friendliness, well! Definitely MEGA for the clientele who wants to eat there! And based on alternatives in the area, actually, there is no alternative!

Very nicely located place, a bit old. Sanitary facilities are very clean, but the garbage area is quite chaotic. Staff was very friendly.Highlights are the small shop and the fish smokehouse. The two restaurants are close bytoo expensive. Great excursion destinations and hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity.Electricity and water are available on site, but gray water drainage is not possible on site.

You will receive a very friendly welcome and the atmosphere around you is great.The kiosk owner is a lovely person and you can get the essentials there. There's a lot to see. We have often been disappointed by the restaurant in front of the campsite, but everyone has to have their own experience.

Where are the stars? The campsite looks very neglected and is worth at most one star. Everything is a bit run down, unlike what was described in the reviews. Maybe we also set different standards for 4 stars. …

Small, nice place right on the Edersee with very friendly operators.Ideal for water sports and cycling tours.The pitches vary in size and are all separated by hedges so you have your own privacy.Small grocery shop, fish smokehouse and several restaurants in the immediate vicinity as well as a sailing school.Would come back at any time.

We were there for 3 days. The parking spaces at the front of the lake are small but nice. If you have a vehicle up to 5m. Be sure to ask for parking space number 53.The shower house is a bit old. The showers are new. Very cool, I have to say.The location is good, a small ferry leaves directly in front.There are many small restaurants nearby. A fish smokehouse too. Extremely delicious.We'll be back 😊

Campsite located directly on the lake with very small plots separated by hedges and very narrow driveways. I had to maneuver a bus several times to get to the lot. There is everything you need on site: no shop, several restaurants, delicious fish sandwiches and of course a bathing beach when the lake is full.Operators are very accommodating and friendly.Price/performance is okay.Credit cards are not accepted.

I spontaneously needed a parking space for car camping. Everything worked fine. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The campsite was clean and in a great location. Beach and playground were just around the corner. There were great restaurants and fish sandwiches right on site, as well as a small shop for fresh rolls and more. A clear recommendation!

Very nice campsite with a great location right on the beach. The sanitary facilities are in good condition and clean. The only drawback: The "earth" at the campsite is so solid that it is almost impossible to get pegs into the ground, so you have to get a good spot.

We initially wanted to stay for 2 days and ended up staying for almost 2 weeks. Nice large pitches, Edersee can be reached in 5 minutes. Quiet, clean, very nice team, small shop, fish smokehouse and 3 good restaurants within walking distance. And ideal for us, it’s also dog-friendly. We are thrilled and will be back!
