We stayed at the Maximilian guesthouse for one night and were thrilled. A super modern and clean room in a best location.It's only a 3-minute walk to the old town.The parking garage is also nearby and was easily accessible for us with the Golf. The entrance is actually a bit narrow for very large cars.The room card was ready at 3 p.m. as described and the staff in the café were nice and helpful.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and modernly furnished. The location is ideal for exploring Speyer and for enjoying culinary delights. Of course the check-in procedure is a bit pragmatic, but since this is not a classic hotel, we didn't expect it to be any different. We were only there one night and would recommend it for several nights.

A nice room in itself. BUT-the contact to pick up the room key was very cold, we waited in the café for a long time even though there wasn't much to do and there was no classic welcome, just "here are your cards, please sign, they have to go there"-The guest house is a bit out of the way, but the old town can be reached quickly-The guest house itself is quite noisy so everyone coming and going can be heard clearly-We had an ant infestation in the room which was taken care of (a bait was set up) but no apology was given nor did anything change the ants (they simply went somewhere else so we had to travel home with them). umpteen ants have lined up as a nice memory.So we won't be coming back, we've booked another hotel on the way back!

The room was nice. With a small separate area and a couch and television, which can also be turned into a bed. So you have a small living room area and a nice comfortable bed. The drawback was the entrance to the room where there are 3 large steps down into the room. In the dark there is a risk of falling if you don't think about it, so you can seriously injure yourself here. A small railing would indeed be appropriate here, especially since there are also older people. The room was very clean. It was a shame that there was no bottle of water in the room. There was a small coffee machine with coffee capsules. The reception, i.e. the lobby, which is also in the restaurant with the same name, is unfortunately a big minus. Very rude at reception and when we asked if we could get into the room 1 hour earlier, just a stupid comment. It's more flexible, friendlier, simply better.

We were in Speyer for one night and stayed at the Maximilian Studios. The room was small, but nice and functional. There was a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and coffee maker. So you could take care of yourself. The guest house is on a side street. Check-in takes place 50m further in the café. This is a bit inconvenient, but it's not a problem. The location is just great. In the middle of the pedestrian zone. So central but still quiet. The service is difficult to rate. There isn't one. But that's normal for a studio. Unfortunately we had to wait unnecessarily to check in. Two employees were chatting in a relaxed manner and didn't come up with the idea of serving us. That's better. Otherwise everything was fine. The price was also ok.

We had a great, modern room, quietly located towards the backyard. We didn't hear anything about the area, even though we were very central. Only the walls are quite thin, so you can see everything from the hallway.The bathroom and toilet are only separated by a glass door.There is free WiFi, but it is very slow.You can get the room key in the nearby Café Maximilian, where you can also have breakfast in the morning. When you check out, you throw the keys into a small box at the exit and just leave. Very convenient.Price performance is very good!There is no direct parking lot, but there are many paid parking garages and parking spaces in the area.

Tickets can be picked up at the café. The waitress behind the bar said someone would come. It was full, but I would have liked at least one glance from the waitresses to see that they noticed you. But nothing happened. After the gentleman behind the bar realized that no one cared, he helped us. Thank you again for this.The guest house is centrally located, the rooms and the building are very clean. Our room was right next to the elevator, but you couldn't hear it. We would visit the guesthouse again.

The room is in a completely renovated house on a quiet street, within walking distance of Speyer city center. The facilities are very clean, very modern, functional and I can fully recommend the room. A delicious breakfast in Café Maximilian, just a few meters away, is also recommended.We were recommended an underground car park a short distance away.The daily price was €6 and since we stood there overnight we had to pay €12.

Rooms very noisy because they are on a busy street! Air conditioning is very loud and makes irregular loud bangs. Impersonal service. Very unfortunate. Quite expensive and small rooms.

There are 3 different buildings for room rental. Restaurant in the beautiful pedestrian zone. Rooms are all totally stylish.
