This is our fifth time here and we feel warmly welcomed by the Kraus family in both summer and winter.3 generations live together here on the large farm, idyllically on the edge of the forest at a height at the end of the town.Bread roll service, milk and eggs and a drinks machine leave every wish unfulfilled.Since last autumn, the newly designed play barn has been making children's hearts beat faster even in bad weather and there is also a wellness area, sauna and library for older guests.In summer, the children have a lot of fun on almost daily guided horseback rides.Be open to very nice hosts and feel warmly welcome at the Kraushof in Schöneck near Langdorf.

A paradise for young and old, there are several play options and many vehicles available for children of all ages. There are plenty of benches and loungers for adults to relax and enjoy the view.The Kraus family is very warm and creates a family atmosphere.You can help look after the animals or watch them being milked at any time. Up to four horses can also be rented, with guidance if necessary.

The four of us (children 5 and 6 years old) had a great autumn holiday week at the Kraushof.Everything was perfect all around, we can recommend it 100%.We had the courtyard apartment with a view/balcony of the inner courtyard. Very spacious and equipped with everything you need.Around the farm you also have everything that young and old need for a great farm holiday. In addition to the many children-loving animals, there are all sorts of things for children to discover. Hay slide, motor pool, play tower, swings and a games room with table tennis, table football and billiards.An even larger play barn is currently under construction.For adults there are many nice sitting and lounging areas scattered throughout the yard. There is enough time to put their feet up, kids have fun playing in the yard or helping with yard work. The entire family is very child-friendly and guests are very happy to be included in farm life.Daughter Franzi offered the children daily rides with the 5 horses, which was of course a highlight.Bread roll service was available 7 days a week, orders could be placed up to the evening before. Milk, eggs and honey were also available for purchase.A vending machine in the lounge area with beer and non-alcoholic drinks from the region was also practical.The Kraushof is perfectly located at the end of the village street on the edge of the forest, no through traffic or anything like that... you can let the children run around freely. Some hiking destinations can be reached directly from the farm. Otherwise, there are many options for all hiking requirements within a short driving distance, and there are also plenty of alternatives for bad weather. The guest card also includes public transport, but we didn't use it.Overall, an absolute feel-good holiday, we will definitely come back.

Idyllically located on the edge of the forest and has been a sought-after holiday farm with fun for the whole family for over 50 years

I'm rather inexperienced in such reviews, but I really have to say a lot of praise here: this farm in this corner of the world combines so many components: fresh bread rolls every day, fresh milk or fresh eggs if necessary, or sometimes a jar of honey from the regional beekeeper. The apartment was more than flawless! We all slept wonderfully and had enough room to move within 14 days. 2 bedrooms, living room corner, TV and everything in the kitchen and toilet was more than ok ;)You have the opportunity to experience farm operations at any time. Everyone involved here works with a lot of passion and you can see and feel it at any time! The children loved their time on the farm, were able to move around freely and enjoyed riding, feeding the animals and running around in the games room or in the hay slide - no matter what age - all the children found contact, I have never experienced that before :)And the surrounding area also offers a lot of variety! We will be back very soon and are looking forward to the wintery facet!I feel fully recovered and the kids don't even want to drive anymore :)

A paradise for children AND adults. My daughter, 6, went out to play and was gone for a while🙂. I was able to read in peace for many hours and do whatever I wanted.The kids can gain experiences close to nature and animals, play in the in-house playground, run around on a hay slide, play table football, use the leisure room... And of course have a great time running around with other children.There is a national park, a toboggan run in an amusement park and other activities in the surrounding area. In winter you can also go skiing.Nature is beautiful. The garden invites you to relax, the view is incredibly beautiful, see also photos 👍The apartments are cozy, clean and you immediately feel at home.The three-generation family is very nice and tries to make everyone feel at home. You can join in on the dinners together (we had a cheese and a roast pork evening during our two weeks, for example) or you can withdraw more if you like.Overall, a wonderful holiday, highly recommended and we will definitely repeat it 👍🥰
