We drove around the area on our motorcycle, looking for a nice place to eat dinner. We struggled finding any, but then passed this wonderful place on our way. Lovely patio with a view, and a very friendly and helpful couple running the place. We ordered a season specials dish with butter roasted chanterelles and schnitzel, that were absolutely fantastic, and we finish of with their homemade Grand Marnier parfait, and a coup of coffee. We didn't sleep there overnight, but would recommend the place highly to anyone passing by, looking for great food, beautiful views and a lovely atmosphere.Best regardsSøren & HelleDenmark

Can’t recommend enough, what a little gem! Cannot understand the negative comments left from other guests. Food and room were top notch, and then super friendly owners as well! Very clean and the bathroom has plenty of room.

The ground floor is fully equipped for disabled people. The rooms are supposed to be a little different, but this is completely true for my room, even if I can't rate everything about it. In any case, this is very spacious. The region is very expensive, but from this perspective the accommodation is rather inexpensive! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. ❤️Good dining options available. Unfortunately only used for a good breakfast. Ask owner for requests.

This is the perfect place to enjoy and arrive. We felt very comfortable here after a bike tour. The dinner is a real culinary art, lovingly prepared and the meat is fried to perfection. At breakfast we treated ourselves to cozy music, high-quality tea, egg dishes of your choice, some fruit and tasty warm rolls with delicious sausage and cheese. The hosts and other guests were always up for a chat and were probably connoisseurs themselves.

We stayed in the old building. Directly below us is the terrace and the parking lot. In front of us is the country road, which is busy even at night. Sleeping was hardly possible. Rooms very tight. But there is also a new building. The rooms seem to be better.

I would like to share something with you that would actually be laughable if it weren't so sad. I called the mill in Waabs on Wednesday and asked what happened on October 30th. Looking for funeral coffee after Birgit's funeral and wanted to stop by tomorrow evening (Saturday October 19th) to discuss everything, as I was told that they probably wouldn't be open that day or that they wouldn't have any staff. Then, of course, I got in touch with other locations, where I was immediately accepted today because they also knew Birgit well. After the confirmation, I called the mill to cancel the appointment because I found it somewhere else. The owner then also took note of this. Less than 5 minutes later I got a call from the owner of the mill saying that it would be a shame for me to cancel the appointment because it was today, October 18th. Already ordered bread for over €100.00 and a temporary worker for October 30th. had organized and he didn't know what to do with the bread and that he would have to cancel the temporary help again. His words, I quote, "Don't you wonder why so many inns have to close when you go somewhere else, and now I have to store the bread for the next six months until I get rid of it." End of quote. Hello? You only order something when the order has been given and then everything is clear, or am I wrong before that? Am I now to blame for the fact that country inns have to close? I actually don't think so. Or how do you see it?
