Hello dear Dampland team,We stayed with you at the Asgard Premiumhaus at the end of September (with the most beautiful beach weather) and we really enjoyed it, except for a few points that I have to mention here. What was positive was the friendliness of everyone, the clean dog beach, dog basket and treats and doilies upon arrival, the Spitsbergen breakfast buffet with plenty of vegan selection (not only fruit and vegetables, but also various plant milks and vegan spreads (which were very tasty), the staff* Spitsbergen and the marina fries were delicious.Unfortunately, the negatives were the creaking doors (which I couldn't get rid of even with oil), the sofa and mattresses were full of stains, people smoking everywhere (well, of course you can't do anything about that), the only-roof houses could use a colorful coat of paint on the outside , the cleaning could be better and the stairs definitely need carpets on them, very slippery and dangerous for children, dogs and adults. We had beautiful, warm, sunny days on the dog beach and the child was also very happy to swim at the beach and explore the Drachenhuus (oh, the signage could be better). :-)

We booked *only the roof house* and are super satisfied. For the children it was a highlight, instead of a hotel like always, here the children's imaginations had free rein. The beach wasn't far, evening entertainment for young and old and a super nice beach (very clean). There were many local places where you can eat great food, or for those who are self-catering there is a small shop where you can buy the essentials. We had everything there, even a large plot of land in front of the house where you could really let off steam with your kids, ah yes and we had animal visitors every day. We're thrilled and would love to come back again.LG

The holiday homes are OK but definitely not premium. The reception was friendly and the facility was very well maintained. Everything was ready for our dog as ordered. The condition of the facility is a bit old.

We had booked a “premium house” for about 4 days.Unfortunately, it was anything but premium. The rooms were functionally furnished but were quite "cool".The kitchen itself was ok, but unfortunately the pan was very scratched and therefore unusable. We also didn't have hand soap or a hairdryer and we would have had to pay extra for new towels. We were there with two small children and a dog...it was difficult. We would have 30€ for breakfast!! Have to pay per person!Everything was included for the guests, we would have had to pay extra. For the price I would have liked something different. Everything was the cheapest of the cheapest.According to my children, the indoor playground wasn't particularly great. All in all we won't be coming back!Price performance hardly exists!

Super nice place, everything within walking distance. The equipment was a bit old but it didn't affect us that much as everything else was good.

So, we rented a "roof only" house, and the outside appearance was a bit frightening at first... but "oh lo and behold" it's really cozy and clean inside... there were 2 dog baskets including dog doilies, a bag of treats for everyone Dog “Chihuahuas” and pedigree chew bones provided, although you can keep the doilies. In addition to a small kitchen that contains cutlery and materials for the most necessary things, the bathroom is also really small... But we don't want to live here forever... there is a small, cozy terrace with a table and chairs... a small EDEKA is within walking distance, as is the dog beach… on the whole, the price/performance ratio is perfectly fine. We would definitely vacation here again as a family.

I rate the Asgard “Premium” house here.Calling the house premium and charging the premium price is an impudence. Here are our impressions about it.- When we arrived, of course we had to go to the toilet first. Then realized there is no soap. Not a piece. Not in the upstairs bathroom and not downstairs either. We haven't had anything like this in any holiday home/hotel before. So first buy lots of soap.- In the evening we made pizza. There was old, used baking paper on the baking tray. There were no oven gloves/pot holders. Really premium.- Joints have broken out in the tile area in the living room.- Curtain rods are torn out, curtains are not hung.- Stained walls due to dead insects- There are no fly screens anywhere. Mosquitoes everywhere.- "Fresh" towels are stained/dirty- Bed linen is stained and dirty- Toilet seat also damaged.- In the upper bathroom, the stopper in the sink could no longer be pushed up after it was pushed down. The frame was broken and was lying in pieces in the pull-out underneath.- There were blue, greasy dirt (verdigris) on the taps in both bathrooms upon arrival. That doesn't work at all. Has this been cleaned at all?- The shower is, as described in other reviews, a plastic cup. The jointing is cracking and moldy in all corners and edges. Look at the pictures.- Fall protection on children's beds was not available and could not be handed over when asked at reception because there was none. Super premium.HERE'S ANOTHER SAFETY NOTE:Maybe the operator is interested. In Germany everything is regulated. Also the height distance between the individual steps if there are no risers between them (i.e. an open staircase) or the distance between the individual balusters. I hope you understand what I mean. According to DIN 18065, this must not be larger than 12cm. The example here is the distance between children's heads. This is to prevent small children from falling between the individual steps or railings.THIS IS NOT THE CASE IN THE PREMIUM HOUSES.We were sitting in our living room with our friends when their 4-year-old son snaked his way through completely, not just his head. The whole child managed to get through the individual stages. Thank God we saw it and held the little one. The distances are far more than 12cm.I admit, this is not an everyday scenario. But the danger exists and the stairs do not comply with the regulations. In summary, the houses are rather spartan, obviously unkempt/dirty and can at best be described as standard but not PREMIUM. We stayed in the yellow house number 15. We don't recommend these houses for the prices and won't be coming back.

Pleasantly quiet resort. A fun pool, indoor playground and smaller playgrounds provided plenty of opportunities for the children to have fun. Our accommodation, the "Nurdachhaus", was a bit old and the furnishings were very simple but practical. The hot water boiler was insufficiently sized for 7 people, showers had to be planned carefully. Cooking was a bit tedious as the stove wasn't working. The equipment in the kitchen was incomplete, lids for the pots were missing and 1 - 2 smaller pots would have been helpful.Generally reasonable price-performance ratio.

We rented a premium residential unit for a week. These houses are modern standard, unfortunately nothing more. The shower area consists of a pure plastic shell. (reminiscent of a cruise ship)There was no soap or anything like that. The sofa in the living area is made of fabric. Therefore, some spots can already be seen. The fire glove for the fireplace was defective and some of the fingers were already sticking out.The cutlery is past its prime and looks very old.Unfortunately you couldn't lock the front door from the inside. (not so pleasant for small children)When we asked for a key, we were told that for security reasons no key could be handed out and that the lock would not be able to be locked even with a key. (Fire protection) But we could put a chair or something similar in front of it.The house is noisy and you can hear the neighbors trampling loudly.Unfortunately there were no information brochures. The location is 1a.It was booked in December. We definitely wouldn't book the unit in the summer, as you can rent much higher quality holiday homes for the summer prices.Another thing to be praised is the use of the swimming pool (free for 3 hours a day) and the arcade. (free all day)
