At Burgstrasse 4 in Viersen, the “Bauhaus” architect Bernhard Pfau created his first residential building in 1931/32, planned for Walter Kaiser, the son of the Kaisers-Kaffee founder. Very nicely located at the Old City Garden with the possibility of staying overnight there.

You can tell that the owner likes art.Small works of art displayed here and there remind guests to keep an eye on art as it accompanies us all the time.Very easy to reach on foot from the train station, quiet location but also close to the center. There is also a lot of information about Viersen in the room, and the hostess also has other tips.Rooms large, clean, with a huge bathroom (including toiletries) and separate toilet. The view of the garden was also a small work of art.

Villa V is a great atmospheric place with living history; everything is very well preserved and you really immerse yourself in an elegant Bauhaus era. The huge garden with old trees and great plants invites you to linger - a real oasis in the middle of Viersen! Art, culture and cuisine are also celebrated here - everything is very high quality and excellently curated. I felt very comfortable here!

10 minutes after booking there was no longer any option to postpone or cancel the booking. And then, after a quick inquiry, I received an unfriendly message from the owner that said:“In times like these, you should know what you are booking.”The owner could have saved himself the unfriendly and cynical comment

There are two single rooms and one double room. The bed in the double room is small so that two adults can barely use it.When you turn over, the person who is not lying against the wall falls out of bed.We had booked a double room and when we arrived we were asked if we would like two single rooms - that's not possible.Bathroom with toilet and old shower (base height approx. 40 cm, with low entry) was in the hallway and had to be shared with other guests. We were offered a large living room with satellite television. TV didn't work. The WiFi connection offered did not work. Even the WiFi connection didn't work. The rooms were all very old-fashioned with a lot of kitsch, which some people describe as art.Even the name Villa V doesn't keep what it promises. It is not a villa but a very old building, internally converted with two floors. Has a villa flairnothing to do at all.€98.00, without breakfast, this house is not worth it.Reasonable max. €35.00.This house is not recommended. All other good reviews are, in my opinion, courtesy reviews. My wife and I will no longer book this accommodation.Cleanliness was a given and is also expected..

I experience VILLA V as a wonderful venue with historical charm, where there is the option of staying overnight. It is a house with history, which is rare in Viersen. For me it's a well-rounded overall concept.
