A bit pricey for a youth hostel, basic, comfortable room, fairly spacious, clean enough and quiet. Good breakfast with plenty of food. However, a 20-something employee scolded my 60-something husband for holding things up spreading butter on his bread while moving through the line, even though no one else was around. Only in Germany. I washed a load of clothes which required several trips to the front desk as information about the process had to be painfully gleaned.A minimal service hotel with a full service price.

Excellent stay. A hostel environment which is a great change from crappy hotels. Specially the ever helpful Matias - the gentleman on the reception and other staff next morning. Super helpful. Good super clean rooms and the whole place. Parking for 10 Euros in an underground parking space. Overall a very pleasant environment and very helpful staff. Breakfast is good. Just remember its a hostel and Not a hotel. For the price as compared to other places, its good value.Disliked · Not having a fan in the room on a very warm night in June, opening windows allows all bugs inside the room.

It's a great hostel but why is there no kitchen? After a sporty day I want to make my own food. Also it's not convenient when you have allergies or food restrictions. My best memories in hostels are meeting people in the kitchen: eating altogether at the same big table starts conversations.Otherwise, very modern and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff, ideal location close to the station and you can see the mountains.

One of the better hostels I've stayed at. Great location, staff, rooms etc. I understand they don't want to offer a kitchen, but even just a single microwave for guests would be awesome.

The room was acceptable, we didn't like the food. The primary reason I rated it one star was due to a negative experience with the receptionist. He rudely asked my wife and kids to leave while I stepped out to buy some fruits for my children after checking out. They were left waiting in the cold weather until my return. The complaint he raised was about my kids running in the lobby. I would not recommend this hostel for families with children.

The hostel was good, clean. Breakfast was okayish but the waffles and belgian chocolate dip was very good.Check in time of 4PM is a bit late, but they also allow to store the luggage so not that big of a problem. One thing I would like to call out is that you need a Youth International Hostel membership or pay extra on per day basis. This information was not super easy to find while booking but got to only know after booking the non refundable hotel. So, please keep this in mind

Great location especially if you are not planning to come by car. The train station (3 minutes walk away) takes you either to Munich or the various base stations of Garmisch classic or Zugspitze. …

Cozy place to stay, in the middle of garmisch so it's basically close to everything. Free breakfast is delicious and creative room layout and deco, also a gym, sauna and business room.A good place to stay with kids. Sauna is 16+ unless with adult, they also have a ski and bike locker.

Great stay at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Just 2 mins walk from the railway station and all facilities are available in and around this hotel. We took a room for 4 persons and was neat and tidy. Service was good and affordable too. Breakfast can be taken for lesser price and have decent varieties of food items. Ambience is really cool and can access the transportation quickly if you want to roam around.

Our stay in this hostel was worth much more than what we paid for. We got extremely friendly staff, 30-minute private sauna + lounge area, room that is more beautiful than what you see in the photos, the view that is absolutely spectacular and very nice breakfast. Just note that you need to spend more than two minutes to book this place (like any other place too) so that you can read about the membership fee and the city tax fee. All fees are disclosed and not hidden, we read them beforehand and we were only positively surprised to find a place that is at least 10 times more beautiful in person than in the photos. We hope to get back very very soon! 🤞
