Very clean modern and recently renovated rooms.Stopped here on our ridge hike.The host is super friendly and is happy to give helpful tips for the area (restaurants, etc.). Even though there were only three guests in the house, the breakfast buffet was rich and of a good standard. All of this at an absolutely fair price. Overall, my unreserved recommendation

Cozy hostel. Here you can spend nice days with friends. Hiking and cross-country skiing start directly at the hut. End the evening with a campfire. Great.It's always nice, which is why we've been coming here for many years.

After 13 years we were finally back in the Klügelhütte. It's amazing how much has changed. The rooms are all newly renovated, with bathrooms. We had a 4-person room with a connecting door, ideal for families. Price/performance is top, breakfast is included. Highly recommended for groups. The location is beautifully situated below the Georgenfelder Hochmoor. The landlord of the hostel is very nice, extremely hard-working and takes care of everything himself.

Wasn't there, but we accidentally drove onto his private property (because the owner's prohibition signs were not noticed somewhere on the side) and wanted to park our car (as written: we didn't intentionally ignore his signs!) because there was a lot of space there and we We didn't even try to fight for space when the owner insulted and shouted at us. A nice request would have been enough. That's why I just can't believe what some people are saying here that this hostel owner is supposed to be friendly... Aggressive is probably a better term!

Our group was very happy with everything / nice renovated rooms with a small TV / very good HB / nice host father / fast internet / good starting point for hiking or cross-country skiing

We held our family reunion here. The rooms are clean and tidy, there is everything you need. Drinks etc. are provided and there are a number of options in the area. If you're looking for unusual holidays, this isn't the right place for you, but if you know what to expect (converted youth hostel with double rooms), you'll get exactly that!We'd love to come back!

Hello, I've been here several times, something to do with the family. Each time something more is renewed and modernized. I think I have a reasonable standard for hiking. It's clean and has a warm shower and a nice bed. Overall, a great family atmosphere. I can recommend it at any time of the year. Rest and time out. Join us to keep it that way.

Very nice location, very nice host who provided us with a lot of information. Rooms very clean and very attractively furnished. The atmosphere of the house is great, between modern rooms and a former youth hostel as well as the old, solid structure of a 500-year-old building, this mix is fantastic.Definitely worth a visit. We (family, 4 people) were here for the first time and will definitely come back. The area and location are beautiful.
