Ferienhaus bei Vera mit Sauna

There are a few positive points that I would like to explicitly mention here in advance: the location and nature all around, up to 3 parking spaces on site, clean bathrooms (2) and kitchen, a great stone charcoal grill, the bread delivery service and the sauna barrel.Otherwise it's absolutely outrageous what's happening here so I can only give one star despite many positive points:- The worst first: There is a laminated sheet in the house to inform that for every 5 star rating a 5€ donation will be donated to a children's charity... This may be an explanation for the rather positive reviews. I don't think it's OK to buy good reviews by promising donations and this is also the reason why I only give one star.- Only with the booking confirmation would we be informed that the additional costs will be billed additionally based on consumption (booked with an apartment - not in the description at the time - now they are). There was no price information in the email. The shock upon arrival: 45 cents per KWh of electricity (quite OK) but a whopping €10 per cbm of water and €5 per cbm of gas (approx. 2 to 3 as much as the prices I currently pay as an end consumer).-In 7 out of 9 beds there were yellow stains, hair or dandruff on the pillows, duvet and/ormattress protector. We were able to remodel a little since there were only 7 of us. We then asked for 2 mattress protectors and received them the next day. Unfortunately, the manager could no longer be reached on the evening of arrival (despite this being explicitly mentioned in the booking confirmation).-The mattresses (under the protectors) are quite dirty and are unfortunately completely worn out. The varnishes from the laundry set (€10 per person - additional and communicated) are too short so the mattress was bent. Comfort is different...-As compensation for the mattress protectors we received a bottle of wine and chocolate... with the request that we please leave a 5 star review anyway. See my comment above-The cake equipment isn't necessarily bad (e.g. there are high-quality grill cutlery and a mixer) but it's just completely unthought out. There were exactly 5 small spoons so we always ate breakfast and dessert one after the other. There is also a lack of cups, water glasses (total with wine glasses but enough glasses), small bowls, a large bowl (for salad) or a large pot (pasta). But there are about 25 flat large plates...-WLAN router costs €3 per day. It says so in the description. However, I no longer find this particularly contemporary.-One of the sauna inside pictures that you see everywhere does not belong to the accommodation. The sauna is a barrel and therefore the walls on the left and right are logically curved. But this doesn't change the fact that the sauna is really great - for me it's about the principle. Pictures should match the accommodation or not give the impression that something is bigger or better.-A free bread roll service would be advertised. This ended up costing €2.5. But the rolls are also cheaper than stated, so the total bill for the rolls is about right.To the owner's response:Dear owner (since you answer anonymously, I am not allowed to address you by name here),Yes, I have already submitted a negative application via Google. That seems a bit small for a client in the background.Regarding booking: 7 adults who book a holiday together rarely have the same last name. If I had never been with you, I don't understand how I would know so many details.Maybe ask your manager again if she brought 2 fresh bed protectors and wine/chocolate to a house on Saturday morning...

We had a very nice stay at Haus Vera. The house was very comfortable and we felt like we were in good hands. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed and the cleanliness really impressed us. We would love to come back again in the summer😁

We, 4 women, 4 dogs - a family - spent a great week in this holiday home.Everything you need was there, it was clean and comfortable.The evenings by the fire were the best.

Mega beautiful holiday home. 2 floors with enough space for 8 people. A huge outdoor area. There is also a brick grill, ideal for people who love grilling. And if you still want to do something good for yourself physically. The sauna in the garden is the absolute highlight. I CAN ONLY RECOMMEND. The nearby lake at the foot of the hill leaves nothing to be desired in summer. There is a water ski facility and there is a bathing beach on the opposite bank, which is also a valuable place to stay.

Lovely house, nice and quiet. Living room a bit small for 9 people. But great outside. Nice piece of grass and walks with the dog.
