Magnificent place. A warm welcome from the master, mistress and dog of the place. Large rooms. Hearty and friendly breakfast. A superb landscape, beautiful walks.

Stains on the carpet, spiders (webs) and (blood?) stains on the walls, the loudly humming refrigerator in the hallway in front of the room and uncomfortable mattresses in the bed give the accommodation an overall spartan feel. The absolute highlight of the room was definitely the empty Fanta bottle and the used beer glass in the wardrobe - a nice surprise for anyone looking for a new accessory. If you want to wash your hands after using the toilet, you must bring your own soap. It's better to keep the bedside table closed for the sake of your mental health - I found advertising flyers for a Christian fundamentalist group there. No thanks.The view of Isny is beautiful due to the location of the accommodation. The breakfast is ok. And yes, the hosts are older, friendly and always available for a chat. If the dog doesn't bother you and if you want a certain family atmosphere for your stay, you will of course find what you're looking for here.However, if you value hygiene and a restful sleep, you should treat yourself to other accommodation. Luckily, the offerings in and around Isny are very diverse.

The hosts are really lovely people. My room was simple but completely sufficient for me. If you don't need luxury and sterile hygiene, this beautifully located guesthouse is just the thing!

The guesthouse is located on a small mountain plateau with a wonderful view of the valley and Isny. Absolutely quiet location, parking spaces available. My single room is functionally furnished, with shower and toilet. WiFi is available and I didn't need it. The couple are really lovely hosts and have valuable information regarding sightseeing, gastronomy and everything else you need about this holiday areaIn the morning there is a rustic/tasty breakfast with various types of savory or sweet things to top your bread with.The coffee is very aromatic!!!!All in all, a nice starting point for planning tours, cycling, etc.There are plenty of shopping opportunities in Isny, a 4-5 minute drive away.

Pension Tornau is by far the best there is for people who want to vacation in peace and quiet and love it rustic. The owners in particular are very lovely people.

I was there 1 week ago. For me it was the perfect accommodation. Very nice hosts and delicious breakfast. Absolutely quiet and in the middle of the countryside.

Very nice landlady, room reasonably clean, but the breakfast room is very dirty. Tablecloth is not cleaned, animal hair on the tablecloth, cobwebs everywhere, dirty floor, some unclean dishes. After looking into the kitchen, all I wanted to eat was yogurt.

Very pleasant personal accommodation with an ideal location in nature. Pension Tornau is aimed at customers who like things personal, who focus on people and who enjoy learning something about the region and the area from the locals.Hospitality is lived here and a homestay travel feeling arises. We stayed there for one night in the summer and will be back for a longer period this year.It's very cozy.We had a large room, very clean with a bathroom.For breakfast all the guests sat together at a large table and that was just great.Great area, great people
