Ferienhof Ücker

We had a wonderful time on the Ücker family's farm. The apartment was lovingly furnished, modern, very clean and the kitchen had everything you needed.The farm offers an incredible amount for children and parents don't miss out either: swimming pond, herb garden, sauna, swings, slide, sandpit, a play barn with lots of vehicles, a huge trampoline and the animals on the farm are for young and old real paradise. The highlight of the day was the daily round of the stables. We were allowed to help look after the animals, gained a lot of insight and knowledge and were able to get to know the other families at this time.The location of the farm is also wonderful. Lake Niedersonthofen, a dairy and the mountain farmers' museum are all close by car.On the farm there is milk from the cows, eggs from the chickens and a bread roll service in the morning.Our first holiday on the farm couldn't have been nicer. We would love to come back.

In March of this year we stayed with our two kids (2 and 7 years old) and a family friend on the Ücker family farm in the Schwalbennest. We were able to spend two wonderful weeks there that we will remember fondly for a long time. I could keep the review short with the words "perfect", but I would like to go over a few aspects that really impressed us.On the one hand, the holiday apartments are super clean, modernly furnished and excellently equipped. Everything you could wish for was there (e.g. kitchen). All common areas, hallways, staircases, etc. are incredibly beautiful and lovingly furnished and decorated and give you an idea of ​​the qualities that characterize the hosts.We felt very valued and welcome at all times! We had a lot of great conversations, we always had an open ear for our concerns or questions about excursion destinations, etc. Even in times of need (we didn't have the holiday on our radar and we ran out of diapers), they helped us immediately and got some from friends - wow!The fantastically designed common room with countless games, a large table and a separate kitchenette invites you to sit down with friends and other guests and spend wonderful hours (even in bad weather).Of course, the kids couldn't get enough of the animals and the large play barn with countless vehicles and play options also caused great enthusiasm!I would also definitely like to mention the beautiful wellness area with sauna, loungers, foot tub, infrared heat cabin, etc. - a real oasis that I really didn't expect...In short – we can recommend this farm 110% and had a wonderful time with our children.The excursion destinations in this region are all close by and we experienced everything from snow to summer temperatures.P.S. This may be "normal" for the hosts, but I honestly couldn't get enough of the breathtaking mountain panorama that presented itself every morning and evening in the brilliant sun. Spectacular!!!

We were guests at Ferienhof Ücker as a family (3 adults, 2 children) for 5 days.Our holiday apartment was right up under the roof.You live in the "living area" of the building, adjacent to the stable, which is also actively used.There are two more holiday apartments and one apartment in the basement.Our apartment was on the top floor and you can park the car separately for loading/unloading, saving you two flights of stairs.The apartment is divided into a living-kitchen-dining room, adjacent to the parents' bedroom, and in front of it a hallway which leads to the children's room with 2 beds and the bathroom.The bedrooms are well sized, the living area is cute, everything you need is there.We only missed one or two sharp kitchen knives. There was no oven, but there was a dishwasher and all other kitchen appliances.A TV and WiFi are available.A bread roll service is available upon request and, depending on the mood of the house chickens, you can also have fresh eggs in the morning.The whole property is huge and there is a lot to discover. The Ücker family was always very friendly and open-minded and we learned a lot about the farm, life and the animals there.For the young ones there is a “play barn” with all kinds of vehicles, a slide, a “hay swimming pool”, trampoline and much more.Although the play area and the vehicles are of course used intensively, one or two of them could have been in better condition or tidier for us, then we might have played a game of table tennis if we had found the bats and the ball right away ;- )As far as animal lovers are concerned, you can go into the stable with the cows, you can take part in the herding, there are rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and goats and you can also feed all the animals. This is of course great for the little ones and at the end they get a “stable diploma” for helping out. Really really great!In addition to a tree house, the garden offers a sandpit, a slide, a swing and a climbing area - everything that makes children's hearts beat faster.If you want, you can even enjoy cooling off in your own natural swimming pond.During your stay, the in-house wellness area can be used multiple times if desired; there is a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin and a relaxation area. Everything was done very lovingly.If you wish, you could also book a massage.In addition to the holiday apartments, there is a separate, larger lounge with a kitchen and tables, so you can also have a party here. There are also various toys for children here.The farm is about 20 minutes away from Immenstadt, and it takes about 10 minutes by car to Missen, where there is a very good pizzeria (La Mamma).The overnight prices are on the higher side, but with the modern holiday apartment, the playground, the wellness area and the really authentic “farm experience”, you get a lot for your money.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Ferienhof Ücker and we could easily imagine going on holiday there again.Thank you for the lovely stay and hospitality! 😀

I can recommend the farm across the board. There is a lot on offer for young and old. From fishing on the farm to sauna to feeding cows for children8w2. Everything was very well maintained with attention to detail.We'll definitely be back!
