Ferienhof Maidel

We were guests there on the 4th of Advent and it was wonderful. The girls are super nice and totally uncomplicated. Our children were very enthusiastic about the animals and were allowed to go into the stables on their own. We got eggs fresh from the stable for breakfast and milk straight from the tank. We got a great tip for a tobogganing trip.

If you are looking for clean, hospitable, well-equipped, modern accommodation, this is the right place for you. The family is super nice and children are the focus here. We stayed at Haus Hennastall with 4 adults and our grandchildren. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate during the week, but the well-equipped holiday apartment made spending an hour or two in the house with the kids bearable. I think it's particularly worth mentioning that the basic things in the kitchen (coffee filters, garbage bags, dishwashing taps, etc.) were all there. Sitting on the terrace we could also see the cows running past us during the cattle drive. Anyone who offers support with stable and farm work will be warmly invited and can experience life on a farm 100%. In short: we'll be back!

Dear Maidel family, first of all we would like to thank you very much for your hospitality and your time with us! We thoroughly enjoyed the week at your holiday farm.Already on the way to the Maidel holiday farm we were thrilled by the beautiful landscape of the Allgäu and were excited to see what awaited us. It was supposed to be our first vacation on a farm. A small road uphill led us to our destination and we were warmly greeted. We felt comfortable straight away. We moved into the Viehweid apartment after it was briefly shown to us. The apartment was prepared for us with some loving details and was super clean. The furnishings are of high quality and you can immediately tell that someone has put a lot of effort into it with attention to detail. A look into the kitchen cupboards showed that there was enough of everything you needed. The knives cut and the dishwasher also deserves its name - we have never experienced that in a holiday apartment before. Bed linen and towels were clean and free of stains, we could stay here :) The beds for the children had fall protection and even toys were available.The children went straight to the playground, which is equipped with a huge trampoline and a climbing frame with a slide and swing. We arrived to great weather and our children werewelcomed by the children of the Maidel family in the paddling pool. The playground has everything a child's heart desires. There are also many vehicles available to use.We were provided with fresh bread rolls and fresh cow's milk every day and also enjoyed the farm's eggs.And what was new for us compared to our previous vacations was the farm. Many huge cow eyes looked at us as we entered the stable. We were able to watch the milking and the work in the stables, see the cows being led out to the pasture and back into the stable and, last but not least, pet a cow and the many calves.The hens and the rooster, who clucked as they approached the fence, also caused a lot of excitement. The children also had the opportunity to take part in getting eggs. There were also two guinea pigs and two Haflingers to admire.You could enjoy the Allgäu landscape wonderfully from the farm. The many cowbells could always be heard from the distance, which perfectly underlined the atmosphere.We can fully recommend the Maidel holiday farm!
