One of the warmest places in the Harz, Friedrichsbrunn! And Katharina’s bungalows are perfectly located. At the top with some wonderful views. Breakfast is so delicious there and extensive, in a cozy atmosphere. The landlady knows how to satisfy her guests and entertain them nicely. We received great tips for excursions from her. After 5 days we even extended it for another 2 days, we liked it that much. Our visit was there in September.

We spontaneously got a holiday home here and were warmly welcomed with our five dogs and three children right from the start. The hostess is very nice and you can enjoy a very relaxing holiday here. We had a well-equipped holiday home with a well-kept garden. The meadows directly adjacent to the nearby lake invite you to take a walk. We felt very comfortable here.

We were very satisfied (summer vacation for 3 generations plus dog in 2 holiday homes). The location, from which you can spend some time hiking or driving to the sights, was ideal for us because we wanted to live away from the hustle and bustle - from the holiday home we went straight into the forest. The service was wonderful, uncomplicated and courteous, everything you needed was there. The restaurant is closed, but we had the opportunity to visit a great restaurant with regional specialties within walking distance. Absolutely recommended because it's so relaxed with children and a dog!!

Very nice holiday resort, with a very nice team. The restaurant is also great.We would love to go on holiday here again in Friedrichsbrunnen near Thale in the Harz Mountains.Bungalow with living/dining area/kitchen, bathroom with shower & two bedrooms. We used the second room for clothing so it was always tidy.😀👍

It was a very nice holiday, a beautiful holiday home with a great view, everything is very central, you can take the local bus, hike or drive! We stayed in the beautiful House 1 for 4 days and are very impressed.The house is equipped with great attention to detail, with a view of the forest and meadows.You can walk with your dog indefinitely.You should definitely order breakfast, eggs were fresh and prepared on request, everything else was plentiful.One day we took the evening menu with us (schnitzel with delicious wild mushrooms) - also highly recommended.The host team was extremely friendly at all times of the day, always in a good mood and you can tell that they do their job with love.We will definitely come back and are looking forward to it.Kind regards from Leipzig

Just beautiful. You immediately feel welcome, you can relax and the view of the gondola pond is priceless. Friedrichsbrunn is still an undiscovered pearl in the Harz and the lower cliff is a dream.

We received a very friendly welcome.Very nice little bungalows, everything modern, clean and nicely furnished.Breakfast was also good, unfortunately there are currently no other meals there due to the lack of a chef, but there is a well-equipped kitchen in the bungalow.Gladly again!

Animals also clearly feel comfortable here 🤗 super dear pensioner mother, open-minded and helpful in all questions. The bungalow is very clean, there are external blinds that make it possible to sleep in despite neighbors and a rain shower 👌🏻😬 it's the little things that make you happy. It was a very nice holiday here, highly recommended
