The food is good, but expensive compared to other restaurants in Ahrenshoop. Close to €30 per person. With a drink, of course. The interior is very nicely designed and equipped.Extra requests are taken into account and happy to be fulfilled. They are very child-friendly and have nothing against dogs.

Of course I couldn't keep the lamb shank waiting. Simply heavenly. So no before, just an after photo...

The Germans get a bad culinary wrap...mostly from me...I mean, they're sharing borders with Italy, France and Sweden (kinda)...anyway, this place gives German cookery a name as great as Catherine (see your Russian history). The beetroot is stellar, as is the cod, which is essentially enough for 2...except its delicious, and I'm delightedly greedy. The wild boar I'm told is a peak level example. Dessert is good too. Pity the wild garlic soup is lacking...well, wild garlic flavour. They are about as rare as european cherries in January, but if you're selling me wild garlic, and I adore wild garlic, take me away from my seat with the love that is...wild garlic. That aside, you'll have a blast here...
